"Hello! I couldn't help but ask you for another request. Do you think you can do a Jalex where it's cold and Jack is worried about frost bitten lips?"

Alex's POV

Snow fell in big, white flakes onto the slushy streets, the branches of dead trees and lush pine trees, and the people crowding he streets.

I was the lucky adult who's car just broke down; I've never been into anything mechanical, so I didn't know how to fix my car. I called the guy to come fix it, but he can't because it's a complete white out.

And here I am, stuck at the end of a freezing metal bench, an hour late to work, waiting for the stupid city bus.

This goddamn weather was suppose to stop a week ago. There was a seventh degree day, where all the snow melted, and then the next it froze over and began to snow again.

I was never a fan of cold weather, but moving to New York has never been one of my smarter moves.

But I had no choice; I'm an astronomer, and believe it or not, there is an excellent stare gazing spot by a gorgeous lake.

And my job pays well. I do enjoy my work as an astronomer.

My boss, she'll probably understand why I was late. She's really nice and understanding towards things like this.

The wind speed picked up and blew snow harder from the clouds. A few people that passed had umbrellas in their hands, but it wasn't doing much. Just extra weight to carry.

I shudders and pulled the strings on my coat so the fur in my hood was warming my ears. Bouncing my legs and humming silently, I tried to do something to keep my mind off the cold freezing my bones and blood.

The sky kept spitting out slush and those big snow flakes on anything out in the open.

The metal bench didn't help warm me up much, either.

"Hey, is this seat taken?"

I didn't even have to look up to know this man was attractive. His voice sent flames throughout my heart and body. Despise the cold winds and snow falling, I felt my cheeks flush with warmth.

His voice was smooth, like a knife through a fresh jar of peanut butter, and came out not in shivers like mine, but in a nice, courageous way much like he was warm and ready for conversation.

"Y-yeah man," I shivered. I attempted a smile but my mouth shook like a mess.

He sat by me, not worrying about the cold or snow or job, and casually threw an arm around the back of the bench.

There was one other person, but she stood up. Why, I don't know, but it gave me more room.

The guy leaned back and looked up at the sky. Snow fell in his brown hair, with the blonde streak, and wetted his earmuffs. The snow melted on his face like it was on a hot stove, and turned to small water droplets.

"I'm Jack." Jack said as he nudged me.

"Alex." I smiled.

He nodded and smiled a little.

"You okay?"

"I'm cold."

Jack squinted.

"What happened to Alex?"

I couldn't help but let out a laugh.

Jack laughed too, and tugged his arm back to fix his scarf. I looked down the street for the bus, and whined when I didn't see it approaching.

"Here," Jack said, wrapping his fluffy black and blue scarf around my neck, "You need it more than I do." Jack mumbled, as he tucked the warm scarf into my jacket.

I smiled and said my thank you. The scarf was warm from his body, and smelt like a mixture of cologne and after shave.

"You're not from here, are you?"

I laughed and hugged myself again.

"No; I got a job offer here, and I'm not use to the cold weather and snow."

Jack chuckled and threw his arm over the bench more, to the point where it was nearly around my shoulders.

"Yeah, it was like that when I just moved too," he said as he played with the fur on my hood.

His arm slipped down and wrapped around me, and his band rested on my other shoulder.

He pulled me closer, so that our legs were touching and he was sharing his warmth. I blew it off as a friendly gesture; he was cold, I was freezing, and he was trying to be nice.

"Man, it's cold." Jack laughed

"No shit." I added.

Jack laughed and cleared his throat.

"I hope I don't get frost bite."

I looked at him with a questionable look.

"How? You're covered head to toe."

Jack shrugged and rubbed my shoulder with his gloved hand.

"I can get it on my lips."

I rolled my eyes and let out a chuckle. Jack smiled but quickly covered it up so he looked like he was acting serious.

"Well, maybe you can help me out with that."

My smile froze, and was replaced with a deep red blush. Was he asking me to kiss him so I can warm up his lips? Oh, God, is this real life?

Jack smiled, and slowly leaned forward, giving me time to pull away if I wanted.

I didn't, though, and went in for it just like he did. Our lips, chapped from the cold, touched and molded together.

Jack slid his hands down to my waist, and I put one of mine on his hat and the other resting on his neck.

Breaking our moment, the city bus pulled up. A rushed looking guy opened the doors and the three of us scurried on. The girl standing sat down in a seat close by the door, and Jack and I say towards the back.

He didn't let go of my hand the whole bus ride, and when I had to stand up to leave for work, Jack was nice and walked me to the building.

"So, when do you get off?"

"Six."

"See you then!"

And on that note, he kissed my cold nose, and walked down the street humming 'Party Song' by Blink 182.
