Conference

3 days later, a conference was held among the Committee, with their advisor and scientist, Elvis Gadd, giving information on Godzilla.

E. Gadd: The readings match our previous records. It must've been Godzilla, or a similar threat that needs to be eliminated before establishing a settlement. The one advantage I would say is that the creature acts more independently rather than in a herd or a pack.

Dolu do: How do you know that?

E. Gadd: the radiation levels. As you all know, Godzilla scatters heavy radiation in the environment around it. However, even though the terrain has undergone heavy change, the radiation levels are maintaining stable numbers. If we reverse calculate the emission data gathered in the past three days, the possibility of multiple Godzillas is unlikely. What I'm trying to say is, Godzilla still remains a unique genetic defect, and cannot still be compared to other organisms.

Peach: My one question is, if it's been 10,000 years since we left, how is it alive?

E. Gadd: I'm not so sure. But I have three theories. The first one is comparable to how lotus seeds survive for 2,000 years, and I theorize it might be the same with Godzilla. It may be going dormant every few millennia. The second one is that somehow, I don't know how, multiplied for 10,000 years, and this one is the last one. The third one I think is more believable. Godzilla's biology is beyond every established law in biology we know. So we can't just ignore the possibility that it could be immortal.

Bleck: sorry to object, but research and study is not the objective of this meeting. There's no way we can coexist with Godzilla, so if this creature is indeed Godzilla, and the last one of its kind, than the only option is to kill it.

Toad: yeah, and how do we do that? It survived 150 nuclear warheads, not to mention getting buried alive.

Endurph: Assuming you forgot, we already have a strategy for the elimination of Godzilla.

Toad: The Anonymous essay? We don't even know who wrote it!

Bleck pulls up the essay to explain it.

Bleck: The file is the result of a specialist's investigation, and is deemed as promising information. I'm also prepared to reveal to the committee the identity of the author at this time. However, it comes with this condition.

Peach: And what is that?

Bleck: To lift charges on the stolen information, and the release of those responsible for the Tau-E expedition incident.

Toad: Wait, you mean those four? Are you mad?!

Peach: (sighs) What have you done, Blumiere?

Bleck: (quietly) All shall be according to God's will.

Meanwhile, in the four's cell, Luigi and Yoshi were asleep, while Mario and Bowser were checking on the essay, making sure all of it is valid. Then, the door opens, revealing both Bleck and Black Yoshi waiting.
