With the mission approved, 600 people were assigned to this operation, known as Operation: Take back the land (or TBTL for short). The personnel included are Captain Toad, Count Bleck, Daisy, Professor E. Gadd, Grodus, Wario, Waluigi, Crump, and the Elite Trio. As they all prepare, both Endurph and Captain Toad make their speeches before they go.

Endurph: Those who do not fight, know not the light of justice, nevertheless, those gathered here now, unified with one purpose, shall come to know God's mercy. Follow the path of the devoted. Give praise to God. Garbetrium's guidance be with you all.

Captain Toad: Attention, all personnel. This is Captain Toad, commander of the Earth Landing Brigade. While we prepare for departure, listen up. All 600 gathered here are chosen elite forces who have decided to give their lives to fight against Godzilla. I'm hoping that everyone understands that a civilization stuck in its old ways is doomed to fail. Instead of a fake promised land, we will take back our home, and guarantee a prosperous future for the next generation. For the sake of humanity's future, I look forward to everyone's efforts.

After the latter speech, the landing brigade heads to earth, with the central committee watching the landing ships fly to what was once their home. As they head to earth, Mario has a talk with Captain Toad.

Mario: That speech, it sounded like you were picking a fight with the committee.

Cap. Toad: Really, Mario? Didn't you also give the committee it's fair share of headaches along with Bowser? With the current system, they'll hold their jobs for life. There aren't any comfortable chairs for the likes of me. However, if we defeat Godzilla, it'll be different. A new hero will take the stand. It'll be our time.

Mario: A hero, huh? I see you haven't changed much since we were kids.

Cap. Toad: (chuckles) Don't get me wrong. Your on bail for the time being. Getting you and Luigi back on the field took a lot of convincing.

Luigi: Is that so?

Crump: Commander. All landing ships have assembled in low orbit and are standing by.

Cap. Toad: Understood. All ships, begin reentry sequence.

Bowser: I'd also recommend putting on the helmets right now.

Sergeant Guy: Roger. All ships, begin atmospheric reentry procedures.

The ships begin to enter the atmosphere in sequential order, each of them going one at a time.

Mario: You okay, Luigi?

Luigi: Yeah, just a little nervous. It's been a while since we've been on earth.

Mario: I know, Luigi. Trust me when I say this, I know we'll get back our home, and we'll see how earth used to be.

Luigi: Thanks, bro.

Bleck notices their conversation and speaks up to Mario.
