"And this," Donita started, "is my marvelous mansion!"

She held her arms out and smiled at the house. It was magnificent, sure. But the person who lived inside it was rotten to the core.

"It's beautiful!" Zach exclaimed.

"It's pink," Lacey commented.

"Oh, it's so pink," Donita said. "If you couldn't tell, I love pink."

Lacey smiled an awkward smile and sighed. Based on how pink her house was, she was scared of what her room looked like.

And right before Lacey and Zach picked up their suitcase handles, Dabio came swooping in and picked them up.

"Oh, no it's okay. I can take my stuff," Lacey said, reaching for one of the bags she had brought.

"Please, let me take it, Miss Kratt," he replied with a goofy grin.

Lacey withdrew her hands and stuffed them in her jean pockets. She gave Dabio a quick thank you smile before Donita motioned for them to follow her into the house.

And boy, was the house pink. It was so pink that it looked like Lacey's room back at Zach's skyscraper.

As Donita showed them around, pointing out the different rooms and making everyone 'ooh' and 'ahh' at all her stuff, Lacey wondered if unicorns were real and if a whole herd of them came and threw up all over the place.

"And here is Zach's room! I had it specially made for him."

They entered and Zach broke into the biggest smile Lacey had ever seen from him. The room was all blacks, dark greys, and dark reds. It was perfect.

"Oh, Donita. I love it! It's absolutely perfect!" Zach gushed, touching the satin pillows and comforter.

"I'm so glad! You seem like such a satin guy. And then that door," Donita said, pointing to a door on the left, "is the bathroom and closet. I'll give you some time, but I'm super excited to show Lacey her room. I'll see you for dinner!"

Dabio set down Zach's luggage and then followed Donita and Lacey into the hall and then into Lacey's room, which was to the right of Zach's room. And her room was Zach's room but mirrored, which meant her closet and bathroom were on the right. But it definitely wasn't blacks and reds. It was many shades of pink and it was so bright, Lacey sneezed. That was a Kratt thing. They always sneezed if a light or color was too bright.

"It's beautiful," Lacey commented, sitting on the bed. Her comforter was made of some sort of heavy and soft material and the pillows felt like memory foam. It was fancy alright.

"I was a bit excited so your closet is filled with clothes I made for you. They're all pink, leaf, or animal print. And if you need me, I'll be by the pool. Today is a lovely, sunny day and I do hope you join me. And yes, I did design a few swimsuits and they're in there."

And with that, Donita left with a wink and a smile. Lacey smiled back but when the door was fully closed, the smile disappeared and she laid down on her bed. Yes, Donita had a pool and lived away from the bustling cities, but she was now so many miles away from her brothers. The Zachbots would continue to feed them, but she wasn't going to be able to talk to them for up to a week. And since her stress didn't lie with sneaking around Zachbots, it shifted to the ball. She didn't want to be forced to talk to adults for hours on end. She just hoped a villain would bring their kid.

But because she's Lacey Kratt, she decided to focus on the now. She pulled herself up and out of bed and headed into the closet. And Donita was right. There were many clothes, all pink, waiting for her. And hanging on a hanger was a one-piece swimsuit. It was white and pink vertical striped and super adorable. And sitting below it on a dresser was a pair of heart sunglasses and flip-flops in the same pink color. Donita had thought of everything.
