<< Country Blondie>>Casey woke up to her alarm blaring, she got up and made her to her bathroom to get ready for the first or well her first day of Senior year. " Senior year wow " Casey said to herself. She heard a knock at her door.
" come in " Casey said, " wow, Senior year, you've grown up so much " her mother said smiling at her daughter. After getting ready for school she grabbed her backpack that was newly bought only the day before, and headed downstairs for a quick breakfast.
"Cas, i won't be here when you get home, i'm going to the hospital for a job interview, the keys already in your car " said Melissa as she hugged her daughter goodbye.
Once Casey made her way out of her car and into the busy parking lot of Forks high school, somthing caught her eye, or rather someone. A tall honey blonde boy across the lot with five other people.
The blonde boy turned around to made what seemed to Casey as eye contact, so she quickly averted her eyes and made her way into the building. She found the main office and needed her classes and locker number.
" hello, my names Cassandra Boston, I'm here for my classes " she said.
" of course sweetheart " said the elderly lady at the front desk as she printed Caseys classes off and handed the slip of paper to the girl.
" have a nice day " Casey said as she headed out, " you too, honey " said the woman.
" okay, first class, History " Casey said to herself, and started her look for her classroom. Once she found it, she walked in to see the teacher at her desk.
" ah, you must be our new student " sai dthe teacher " yes ma'am Cassandra Boston, but people call me Casey " she said " oh, another southern, where did you move from? " she asked " Galveston, ma'am " Casey said with a slight frown, remembering her father.
" well, Casey, I'm Mrs. Johnson, you can have a seat next you Mr. Hale in the back there " Mrs.Johnson said as she pointed to the blonde in the back, she noticed it was the boy from the parking lot as she walked closer.
As she sat down, the boy spoke " I"m Jasper Hale, pleasure to meet you " he said in his noticeable southern accent.
" Casey Boston, you as well, you from texas? " she asked.
" yes ma'am, Houston, born and raised " he said.
" nice to know a fellow southerner, Mr.Hale ' she spoke.
" yes it is is Ms. Boston " Jasper said with a smile as they both turned to face the teacher up front.
" okay, can anyone tell me when the war of 1812 was? " Mrs. Johnson asked, one kid raised his hand.
" 1673? " he guessed " nice guess but no, anyone else " she asked. Casey raised her hand " yes, Casey " she said
" War of 1812 was in, well 1812 " She answer " Correct, can you tell us the cause of said war? " Mrs. Johnson asked
" It was a conflict fought between the United States and Great Britain over British violations of U.S. maritime rights " Casey stated, receiving looks from her fellow classmates including Jasper.
" well done, Ms. Boston, Jasper you may have some competion " She said
" it seems I do " he says as he smiles at Casey.
Class ended quicker than Casey expected, " whats your next period? " asked Jasper " um, biology " she said " I'll walk you, we share that class as well " he said with his smooth, calming southern accent.
As the pair walked down the hall, eyes followed them, like they were freaks of nature, looks that Casey knew all to well.
