What Does It Take For A Normal Day

Scene #1 Episode #3

She didn't want to be an embarrassment to the play,her parents or herself. But she didn't know what to do, after that rehearsal she knew she couldn't act.

Alexandra:
"I didn't audition. I can't act to save my life. And yet I got in the play... wow. This is a new weird even for me."

She walked out of class. Olivia came up to Alex.

Alexandra:
"What now Olivia?"

Olivia:
"I just want to say...congratulations."

Alexandra:
"Huh?"

Olivia:
"Congratulations on being Eliza, I know we've had our differences but, I'm happy for you."

Alexandra:
"What's wrong with you Olivia!?"

Olivia"
"Excuse me? I was trying to be nice but you're still being rude!"

Alexandra:
"This is the last straw! I got picked for Eliza, my parents aren't fighting, you're being nice or me and Damon hates me! What's going on here!"

Olivia:
"I thought if I was nice, maybe you could be too but no! You're still the jerk you always were!"

Alexandra:
"Me? I'm the jerk! You're the one who's been bullying me for years and I'm the jerk?"
I never bullied you, you always get the lead, you never said a word to Damon and now you're playing the victim, making up lies! Unbelievable."

Olivia:
"What's wrong with you!"

Alexandra:
"Olivia-

Olivia walked away.

Alexandra:
"Fine! Walk away. See if I care!"

Alexandra made a mad and hostile face

Alexandra:
"Why do I care?!"

Alexandra walked to her next class. She went to her seat and plopped her stuff down.

*at free period*

Alexandra raced to sit next to Damon. She smiled at him.

Alexandra:
"How was your day?"

Damon:
"I'm not your friend Alexandra."

Alexandra:
"Why are you being so rude?"

Damon:
"I'm not being rude, I'm being realistic, you've always been horrible to my best friend."

Alexandra:
"I'm your best friend."

Damon:
"How many times will you ask this in a day? My best friend is Olivia. Is this a new tactic to hurt her?"

Alexandra:
"No I-

Damon:
"You know what...you've done enough to her. I think you should leave. Don't talk to me again."

Alexandra:
"But I just-

Damon:
"Goodbye beautiful."

He walked away.

Voiceover:
After that comment she felt like nothing was right in the world and more than that...she felt alone. All she had was Damon, her parents were very neglectful while she was growing up.

Voiceover:
Something was wrong. The time she woke up and saw him, he'd been calling her Alexandra...he just called her Beautiful, she knew he was in on it.

Alexandra:
"I have to find Donna."

She waited for the bell to ring so she could leave during lunch.
