Scene #1 Episode #5

Alexandra couldn't sleep.

Alexandra"
"This silence is killing me! Please tell me how you're my mother!"

Her mom sighed.

Lady:
"You should sit down, you were unconscious for a long time."

Alexandra:
"Oh yeah. Maybe because I was stabbed. Which I don't even know how it happened."

Alexandra sat up doubting everything. She observed her surroundings and her "mother"

While Alexandra was thinking about everything that's happened in the last few days.

She wished this was a nightmare she could wake up from.

Lady:
"You see, Arya, I-

Alexandra:
"Who...the hell...is Arya?"

Alexandra was on her breaking point...and she just couldn't stop the attitude from seeping out of words

Lady:
"I swear, you couldn't have said it with any more attitude and sass."

Alexandra:
"Who are you and who is Arya?"

Lady:
"The thing is I'm your birth mom but when things got bad, I had to give you away. I knew what you were capable of and I had to keep you safe."

Alexandra:
"Excuse me? What's even your name?"

Lady:
"Barbara."

Alexandra:
"Well, Barbara. I think ya got the wrong kid. So, I'll just be on my way-

She got up

Alexandra:
"Se la vie, take care of yourself."

Then a force knocked Alexandra on the bed!

Alexandra:
"Wha- what was that?"

Barbara:
"I can explain. I know who you are. Alexandra Diana Undercrest, adopted. Had an older brother, James. Father is an alcoholic abuser. Mother pushes you to unrealistic beauty standards. I know everything about you."

Alexandra:
"That proves nothing other than you're a creepy stalker."

Barbara:
"I know you have a birthmark behind your ear."

Alexandra:
"Ok, this is getting creepy."

Barbara:
"I didn't send you away. You were taken from me, Alex."

Alexandra:
"So...what's my birth name?"

Barbara:
"You were a newborn when we sent you away. We hadn't thought of a name."

Alexandra:
"Don't people start thinking about names, like right after they find out they're pregnant?"

Barbara:
"Well I was too busy preparing for a war."

Alexandra:
"War? What's my last name at least? Don't say it's something basic like Smith."

Barbara:
"It's Vanidestine. Your last name is Vanidestine."

Alexandra:
"It's pretty. Alexandra Diana Vanidestine."

Barbara:
"Actually it's Alexandra Bonnie Vanidestine."

Alexandra:
"Bonnie? You chose my middle name before my first?"

Barbara:
"I liked Bonnie but I didn't want it to be your name so I bookmarked it. You know...your father actually had a name in mind before you were born. It used to be your pet name."

Alexandra:
"Arya"

Barbara:
"Yeah. Arya Bonnie Vanidestine."

Alexandra:
"Why Arya?"
