"No babe you just missed the turn!"

"Oh my God Carter could you have told me the turn like a minute before? You honestly make the worst navigator."

Heaving a sigh, I got into the left turn lane so I could make a U-turn because I apparently missed the turn.

I wish I could drive," Carter grumbled, crossing his arms over his chest. "What am I going to do with this stupid thing on my leg?!"

I chuckled, rolling my eyes at my whining boyfriend. "Just be lucky you have that smaller one now and not the one you had before. Now it's easier for you to walk-"

"You sound like my doctor and not my girlfriend," He muttered, but I could hear his playful tone in his voice.

"Wow babe, you look so hot in that cast and I'm sure we can make up a fun story in bed, do I sound like your girlfriend now?"

He laughed, taking my hand from the steering wheel and squeezing it tightly. "That sounds better," He responded, bringing my hand up to his lips and kissing it. "Just park right up here, we can unload and you can find a parking spot later after you take my bags up for me my kind servant."

"Wow thanks."

I smiled when Carter laughed again, and I hopped out of the car and went around to open Carter's door to help him out before he could get to.

"I'm not crippled anymore Kris, I got it." He brushed off any leftover salt and crumbs from our McDonald's lunch that we had to eat in the car, because if we delayed any more time Brendan would be mad, his words. He grabbed his bag out of the car and we headed into his building.

"Carter!" Carter was suddenly almost knocked off his feet and I was about to go off until I realized who it was.

"Okay," I said blankly, picking up Carter's bag that was dropped at the impact, "I'll just take this upstairs then, by myself with a bunch of frat guys who could take me to their room-"

"Oh hell no," Brendan replied instantly, jumping from his embrace on Carter and approaching my side in point five seconds. "Come on sis, I'll take you upstairs."

"That's what I thought," I muttered, smiling triumphantly, "Good to see you too Brendan."

"So how are my two faves?" Brendan asked as he threw his arms around both mine and Carter's shoulders. You could obviously tell that he missed us by his weird actions.

"Well I don't really want to start classes up again, and I've enjoyed this two week break, and I hate this stupid brace on my foot, and I have to leave my girlfriend again...but other than that I'm great!"

"Wow, that was great, very dramatic, you should try out for a movie," Brendan muttered, and I laughed under my breath. "Well, I know Mr. Johnson has really missed your annoying presence."

"No way, Jim missed me?" Carter seemed to jump from his depressing mood to excited in mere seconds. "Wow, surprising, considering I'm his least favorite student."

"Actually, I had a chat with him while you were gone and he told me you're one of his favorites. I told him it was because of your amazingly good looks and personality."

Watching Carter and Brendan's talking made me realize just how close they are, and I smiled. Remembering how Brendan reacted when he found out about Carter and I dating, I thought they would never be friends again, but thankfully they are as close as ever now, and that makes me happy, for some odd reason.

"Okay, whenever you guys are done flirting, can we please move these bags into your room? My arm is getting tired." Carter laughed and took his bag off my arm, slinging it on his arm instead. "Jesus Carter are there rocks in there or something?" He laughed and the boys finally lead me to their room and Carter's bags were thrown on the floor somewhere next to his unoccupied bed. I let out a squeal when I was suddenly being pulled on the bed, and Carter pulled me closer to him so I was basically laying on top of him.
