When I woke up the next morning, the thought of starting school and getting up at the ungodly hour of 6 o'clock entered my mind and I groaned, flopping back down on my pillow. Wow, I ruined my day already and I literally just woke up. The boys go to college next Friday, and I start that Monday. So in 10 days I will be starting the last year of my high school career. And I couldn't be happier. Everyone in my class is looking forward to going to college, while I can't wait to get out of this hell hole people call high school.
I glanced at the clock and it read 9:14. I sat up again and flung my legs out of the blankets. I stretched out all my muscles and sighed, padding out of my room and down the stairs where I found Carter and Brendan organizing boxes and bags.
"Are you still coming with us to NYU Kris?" Brendan asked as he shoved a box into his pile. Yawning, I nodded, scratching my head absentmindedly. Carter grinned up at me.
"You're cute when you just wake up." I rolled my eyes, but leaned down to let him give me a goodmorning kiss anyway.
"No I'm not. But thanks anyway." He laughed and shook his head back and forth. "When are we leaving then?"
"Well, I'm going to take a shower and then once everything is in the car we can go." Brendan got up to take his shower and instantly Carter had his arms around my waist, tugging me to his warm chest.
"Now that he's gone we can do this without complaints." Before I could ask him what he meant, he had his lips on mine and was moving his lips passionately on mine. I kissed him back, letting my bones relax has he held on to me so I wouldn't fall. This happens every time we kiss; I end up losing feeling in every bone in my body, and he has to carry me to the couch or the bed because of my clutziness.
"You can't handle kissing me," He mused, parting from the kiss for a few seconds only to go straight back to kissing me, leaving his mark.
"Your lips are my weakness," I responded, grinning on his lips. He pulled back, his eyes shining as he smiled down at me, his perfect teeth showing and making me melt into a puddle.
"I love you Kristen." Carter rested his forehead on mine, and just as Carter started to kiss me again, Brendan chose that moment to be done with his shower.
"Quit making out, let's go!"

I love car rides a lot, the summer wind blowing in your face while you listened to your favorite song full blast with your closest friends, it's a great feeling.
But with two college boys who are way too immature for their age, you kind of rethink liking car rides.
Currently, they were having a burping contest, and I made a gagging noise when Carter burped the loudest. Sometimes I do wonder how I get so lucky....rolling my eyes, I turning my back window down a little bit more, sticking my nose out the window to catch some other scent that weren't burps and farts (They had a farting contest earlier, and that was by far the worst).
"I think we're killing Kristen back there," Brendan mused. Wow, and they notice it now?
Finally, after what felt like days, but was only about 2 and a half hours, we arrived in New York City. "The campus is beautiful," I commented, my eyes wide as I gazed at the buildings that made up NYU. The guys scoffed. "Right, because that matters," Brendan chuckled, "We're here for the parties right Carter?" Brendan slapped Carter on the back and Carter rolled his eyes. "Sure man, I'm actually here to get good grades." They looked at each other for a second before they burst out laughing, and I rolled my eyes at the dumb asses sitting in front of me.
Once Brendan parked in a spot by their dorm house, the boys were the first ones out of the car, leaving all their boxes in the back. If they think I'm getting them, they're wrong. Shaking my head, I jogged to keep up with them. The last thing I want is to get lost at this huge place.
