Four Days Later

Jason's POV

Its been four days since I made an ass out of myself to Amanda and I was feeling it. She isn't speaking to me and every time I got her alone she would walk away. I think the most I've gotten out of her was a 'leave me alone jerk'. It was really getting on my nerves cause she was all I could seem to think about. I would try to write a song and I'd end up writing her name. Then what happen would replay in my head and I'd end up trying to figure out how to say I was sorry. "Its stupid." I mumbled. Today I planned on telling her I was sorry after work but she left before I could get to the parking lot. "She's not even my girlfriend.. I don't know why I'm so hung up on this." I shook my head. When I got home I took a shower then went over Mike's house to meet up with the guys. They were all talking and laughing about stuff but my head was stuck on Amanda. "I know I was mean to her but she doesn't have the right to not speak to me. She's not my girlfriend, she cannot act like this!" I thought. "I'm going to tell her that tomorrow at work." I mumbled an the guys looked at me. "Amanda's still not speaking to you?" "No and its pissing me off." "Why?" Ian asked. "Because she doesn't have the right to act like this. She's not my girlfriend." "Yes she is." Mike laughed. "No she's not." "Whether you want to admit it or not she's your girlfriend. The next step is making up with her." Ryan added. "I don't have to make up with her." "You want her to speak to you again right?" Hunter asked. I was mad at her but I didn't want us to stop talking completely. The thought of her ignoring me forever hurts. "Yeah, I want her to talk to me again." "Then it's time to make up with your girlfriend." Ian laughed. "Right cause I'm over you sulking." Mike stated. "I haven't been sulking." "Yeah you have." "Anyways, here's what you're gonna do. Buy her something then beg her to take you back." "Two things. One, she's not taking me back because I'm not her boyfriend. Two, how? She never comes to hang out and she never goes to the diner." "Go to her house." Ryan demanded. "She never invites me to her house." "Take some initiative, girls like that kinda thing." I was sitting there debating with myself whether or not that would be a good idea. I didn't want to go over there and she gets pissed off more then what she already is. Then there was the chance I could go over there and she could forgive me. "I guess I'll go over there." I said. "Cool, but her daddy is something.." Mike started. "Forget that. Dress nicely and stand straight up if her daddy is there." "What?" "Man that guy ain't no joke." Ian added. "Really?" "Yeah.. He's mean as hell." That bothered me. I don't want to show up at his house and he screams at me, but I don't want Amanda to stay pissed at me either. "I'll go and hope Amanda tells him its alright." "Yeah." "I guess I'll catch y'all later." "That's right Jason go get your girl back." Frank laughed. "Whatever man."

Before I went to Amanda's house I went home and changed then ran to the mall. I went into a clothes store and tried to pick something out for her. "What do you get a girl that's not your girlfriend?" I whispered and looked around. "Well what does she like?" A girl said stepping beside me. "Um aerosmith.. And.." "And?" I didn't know this girl so I figured it was ok to talk to her. "She smells good all the time. She's really pretty too." The girl was smiling an looking at me. "She's not my girlfriend.. She's just my friend.." "You want her to be your girlfriend?" "No I yelled at her and now she's not speaking to me." "Oh you need an I'm sorry gift. We have aerosmith t-shirts over here." I followed her to the shirts. "Ok thank you." I started looking through the shirts. "She has all of these." I mumbled and kept looking. When I finally came across a shirt that I've never seen her wear I looked at it. "She better forgive me.. This shirt is 45 bucks." I went over to the register and the girl was standing there. "Is that all?" "Um.." I looked around and spotted some orange blossom body lotion. "I'll take that lotion too." "That's $20." "Its ok." "You really want her to forgive you huh?" "Yeah." "Well your friend who is a girl will surely forgive you after this amazing present." I started laughing. "She better." "She'll probably give you a kiss." She smirked. "She's really not my girlfriend." I laughed. "Sure." I paid for the stuff and left. "$67 (that's with taxes) on a gift for a girl who's not my girlfriend.. She better love it." I said getting into my truck. "She better stop her daddy from yelling at me too." I mumbled an pulled off.
