Jake's POV

It's been about a week since Sunghoon got the highest score on the science test. And ever since then he's been beating me at everything. It annoys me so much, I guess I really am a sore loser.

Because my scores are never far from his but he always wins, even by a point. And there really isn't any winning when it comes to test scores but he makes everything into a winner and a loser. This is so annoying!! He's annoying and it doesn't help that he keeps acting like he's done nothing.

And I know he's doing this to provoke me but it's not gonna work I'm gonna beat him some way somehow. Even it there is no win there just has to be at least a day that he isn't giving me that smirk of his.

But besides that Jungwon and Sunoo seem to be having very good friendships with Sunghoon's friends. His friends are quite nice but that's hard to realize when they're very friend is just constantly staring at him whenever he decides to bond with the rest. Shivers run through my spine every time, my body is ready to just shut down.

But what's worse is that I get embarrassed easily well that's what others tell me. And apparently its true because I can constantly feel my cheeks burn when ever he pulls a stunt for the public to take pictures.

At this very moment I'm in class in the only class I have without Sunghoon. But it seems like there's fan girls everywhere. I mean earlier during class someone asked me if me and Sunghoon we're official. What?? How?? Why?? But this okay at least I don't have to deal with that guy, the one who caused every little piece of stability that I managed to disappear.

A complete disaster, but you know what it's not time to think about that. It's history and a bunch of note taking my hands hurting at this point.

Time Skip • Break

I'm walking over to our usual table where we usually sit at and sometimes the other four come sit with us as well. I get there and no ones there? I sat down and texted them asking if something had happened since they weren't here yet.

It took some times until responding saying they're coming. So I put my phone away and all of a sudden I feels arms wrapping around my shoulders. I stiffened and was ready to throw a punch until I heard that voice.

"Hello, Jakey"

Suddenly throwing that punch felt a lot more necessary.

"What are you doing here?" I asked not really curious but hoping he would take his arms away and just leave soon after. But why would sunghoon do that when he could take the chance to bother me.

He sat down next to me, "Well I came to hang out with everyone but they're not here yet.... leaving..... just the two..... of us." Leaning towards me with a smile.

"Yea in the cafeteria where there is plenty other groups of people... yea it's totally just the two of us." I said sarcastically wishing that the others get here.

He giggled, "See you're getting it"
I look at him 'are you serious' look on my face and just sighed. And he put one of his arms on my shoulders. His presence drains my energy I can't even bother trying to get him out of my personal bubble like all those other days.

"Hey Jake" I hummed in response as I was looking through assignments.
"What do you do outside of school?"

"Nothing"

"Huh? Really?"

"Nooo I actually go to bars illegally for fun you know I just love the thrill.... I just don't really have anything better to do." I told him, why? I don't know but this is probably the only decent conversation we'll ever have. Plus he seems a little more eased. He only nodded and after that our friends were already sitting down at our table.
