Sunghoon and Jake attended all their classes like normal and hung out with their friends during break yet something was bothering Jake..... as usual. Jake hadn't seen Charlotte and the fact he hadn't seen her since the time he was avoiding his friends either only made him feel weirder. Jake was naturally caring, so despite everything that had happened recently and in the past, he still felt worried. He could only think about what could've possibly happened to her, had she moved schools again, had she gotten in trouble?

Sunghoon had noticed bit by bit Jake's behavior and had an idea as to what was wrong but he wanted to wait to ask Jake directly.

The bell had just rung signaling it was time to go home. Sunghoon had decided that he would ask Jake on their way home. Jake had texted his parents asking if he could go home on his own for today after Sunghoon whined about not spending enough time together.

So the 2 were currently saying goodbye to their friends who had been teasing the two especially Sunghoon with how clingy he had gotten with the other. As they finished their goodbye they walked together hand in hand to Sunghoon's car. Once Sunghoon started the car he spoke up, "Hey Jakey, I've noticed you looked bothered all day. What's wrong?"

"Huh? Oh, it's nothing." Jake replied but only received a side glance from Sunghoon who wasn't convinced. Jake sighed, "It's just I'm not used to this whole thing but it's not that I don't like it I just can't help but overthink or just think about what everyone else thinks, you know? I can't help but worry. But don't worry it'll go away trust me."

Jake hadn't realized they were already parked near his house. Sunghoon had turned off the car and was now facing Jake. "I'm worried even if you tell me not to be. I understand and I don't expect you to change just because we're dating but I do hope you can work on not letting it get to you so much." He brought his hand up to cup Jake's face, "It'll only harm if you worry so much and I know exactly who you're worried about and I want you to forget about her but I also know that even if I tell you, you won't do it and that's okay."

He smiled warmly and Jake did the same, "Thanks Sunghoon" Jake felt a sudden burst of energy and confidence so he gently sprung forward and pressed a kiss to the other's cheek. Sunghoon's face went serious, "Eh?! Sorry was that weird, I'm s-"

"Can I kiss You?"

"Huh? Asking all of a sudden is a bit-"

"Jake. Can I kiss you?"

Jake opened his mouth to say something but nothing came out so he just nodded his head and with that, he felt a hand come behind his neck slightly pushing him forward. He saw Sunghoon's head tilt a bit and his face coming closer until his face was too close to see clearly. They were kissing! On the lips!!! Jake once again felt a burst of energy, his hand coming up to the other's neck pulling him closer.

The kiss was gentle, but it wasn't just there, it made both of their hearts beat a bit faster but put their minds at ease. They separated after a while but not completely, they shyly smiled at each other. It was moments like these that Jake had never expected to experience and after the kiss, it all seemed unreal.

"Aish, I didn't want to kiss you until I asked you to be my boyfriend. Where did all my self-control go?" Sunghoon sighed with a hand on his forehead the other caressing Jake's face. Jake couldn't help but laugh.

"I should get going now. Bye Sunghoon thanks for the ride see you tomorrow." Jake said as he moved forward to give the latter a kiss on the cheek as soon as he saw him slightly turn his face gesturing for a kiss on the cheek.

"Bye Jakey, I'll see you tomorrow."

And with that Jake closed the car door and started walking in the direction of his house. He still felt the giddiness within him from what had just happened moments before he felt joyful extremely joyful in a silly way. When Jake tried to make sense of the feeling in his head he could only come to the conclusion that it was all so cliche.
