Third POV

"yoi!!!" Jungwon came in screaming with the rest.

"gaaaahhh!!" Sunoo joined him as well.

jake's eyes widened in surprise, 'were they all outside the door listening? Oh no...'

"Finally!!! Jake hyung it took you long enough!!" Niki said as he made his way to Jake.

"I agree!!" Jungwon raised his hand and, one by one, so did the others, including Sunghoon.

"Are you serious right now? You too?!?" Jake said explicitly pointing at the boy who is now his boyfriend. The other only shrugged his shoulders.

"Do you know how much we had to do for all of this to happen?!?!" Jay said staring at Jake.

"Yea!! it took ages to get the librarian to agree." Niki sighed and slumped forward.

"and then we need to find someone to bring you here, kick everyone out, get the keys to lock the door, and we had multiple backup plans just for everything to work after all those times you ran away," Jungwon explained as the rest of them nodded their heads.

"what? Did you guys do all of that?... and I'm sorry about running away I was just too embarrassed." Jake said rubbing the back of his neck and chuckling nervously.

"It's okay, Hyung!!" Sunoo said coming to Jake's side with Niki and Jung-won on the other side. Jake and the three youngest started making their way out because they still had classes to attend. But before that, they wanted to go get snacks, of course.

At dismissal, Sunghoon and Jake said their goodbyes to the rest of their friends and started walking home together.

"I never knew you lived this way," Jake said.

Sunghoon reached for his hand, "I don't. I was hoping just to accompany you on your way home."

Jake was surprised by the latter's action, "You don't have to. If you live the opposite way then let's stop here so you don't have to walk any longer." Jake wiggled his hand to release it from the hold of the other.

But Sunghoon only held on tighter, "Come on let me walk you I want to make our first day as somewhat boyfriends. Because I plan on asking you officially and properly."

"huh?!?!" Jake has now forgotten about the walk home but is now stuck on Sughoon openly saying he would ask him to be his boyfriend. "but aren't we already b-boyfriends?"

Sunghoon smiled at that, "I never asked properly. Did you want to be my boyfriend that much?" He asked inching his face closer to Jake's.

This worsened Jake's panic, "eh?!? no, it's not like that!!"

"so you don't want to be boyfriends?"

"no no no no!! that's not what I meant! I just thought when I confessed and we both accepted it, you know I thought it just meant the same to become a couple."

Sunghoon laughed, "it's ok Jake. In some cases, it does mean that but you have to be sure both people want to take that step."

Jake nodded and turned to keep walking. They both walked in silence and the silence didn't feel all that bad to Jake.

"Oh! wait what about your fans and, and Ch-Charlette?"

"My fans are just fans no need to worry about them. And Charlette? She has no business with either of us so forget about her. I don't even wanna think of her, she was so annoying, and then she would always come in between. AHH!" Sunghoon said looking straight ahead.
