Book: Hey Eomma, Hey Appa
Title : 2/5
The title was boring. According to the story. The title made me procrastinate this story for a long time, before finally starting to read this. I didn't like the story title,
I have a few in mind,
-Mending the past mistakes
-The time traveller
-Bringing back mom
-Changing the reality
Or anything else, you're free to use
Cover: 10/10
Hey, I like the cover. I like it so much, it has Jungsoo on the cover including Jungkook and Hyejin... The colour combinations are great with the little digital touch on it, the binary codes along the text used, it is just perfect...
Blurb: 8/10
The blurb wasn't revealing. It provided enough information. But the way it was written was a little confusing, But it was great in the end. And well, it wasn't made unnecessarily long so it worked out. It also created the curiosity to read more. I am stating the facts, people will gladly read it because you did the perfect job of creating curiosity.
First Impression: 4/5
My first impression on seeing the title was pretty questionable, but then as the story went on, the only thing that increased in me was... curiosity, and I can now say that I am looking forward to reading this book and stick till the end and then reread it all over again.
Plot:19.5/20
The plot here is quite rare because I haven't seen many stories like this. We need more stories like this. Also, given that these kinds of plots need proper plannings before executing or else everything will just fall apart, nothing will move smoothly as expected, but I can assure you that you did a pretty good job in planning everything out and executing it in a proper way too.
You need a big fat round of applause. You deserve it...
Grammar/Vocabulary: 9.5/10
I really loved the way you used your words, the power the words held was in control. Also, there weren't many difficult to read or confusing words. No over exaggerations, I liked it.
Note the fact that it had no Grammatical error by far, and no typos too. I am impressed. You gave your everything to this story, and I appreciate it a lot.
I am glad...
Emotion: 10/10
Ok, the emotions used in the book are perfectly conveyed, no over exaggerations, simple and straightforward, not forgetting to keep Jungkook's shy nature in mind, along with that I was able to feel each and every emotion that all the characters went through,
Be it Jungkook feeling nervous and losing his hopes, or Hyejin giving off her lovestruck fangirling over her crush, or be it Jungsoo's horror when Seora disappeared during their second call.
I would say, you held be pinned on my seat scrolling through the story, holding my breath in horror.
Character Development: 8.5/10
Ok, this is the part where most of the authors lag...
But I am glad to say, the story flow was smooth like butter, I liked the references to the K-drama too, The way you used that line, I am seriously so stunned and impressed,
Because of how well the story was well planned out, I by far couldn't spot any loopholes, Interesting...
The descriptions of the surroundings, the fights, the teasings, the bickering they did on the terrace in the last chapter... Not a single detail was missed. Everything was stated out elegantly,
The developments were well-paced too. But a little confusing in the middle, but it covers up for everything,
Reader's Enjoyment: 5/5
Do you see yourself as a boring author?
I see pure talent...I am rooting for Seora and Jungsoo.
Overall: 9.5/10
I have nothing left to say, you did an awesome job, and all your hard work would surely pay off... Damn gurl!!!
Have a great day <3
