Ch. 3: A New House

The next day, Alan wakes up and gets a text message from Chief Blackwolf.

Chief Blackwolf's Text Message: Alan. I don't mean to interrupt your sleep, but the MIA have built a house for you and Sara. Now you can finally move out of that thing you call home. The moving crew are on their way now to pick up your stuff. If you want to see the floor plans of the house we built, meet me outside the house.

Alan looked at his phone and read the message before putting it away. He woke Sara up in another room.

Alan: Sara. Wake up.

Sara: Mmm... What is it...?

Alan: We are moving out. The chief said that he bought a house for both of us to live.

Sara sat up and stretched. She slowly puts on some clothes and groomed her hair.

Sara: When did this happen...?

Alan: A few minutes ago. The moving crew are coming here right now to pick up our stuff.

Sara: Well... I want to see the house. Now. Let's go.

30 minutes later

Sara: Woah...

Alan: This is it?

Chief Blackwolf: It is. You'll have plenty of room in the new house.

Chief Blackwolf walked towards Alan and Sara and gave Alan the floor plans.

Chief Blackwolf: These are the floor plans. We have brought in the refrigerator, the oven, two beds, and two dressers. You and Sara will be living here from now on. It will help you live your life better that way. Good luck with both of you.

Chief Blackwolf went to his car and is escorted away by his security team. Alan and Sara went inside the house to look around.

Alan: Choose which room you want to sleep in. I got my own room.

Alan went upstairs and unpacked his clothes in his room. Sara went upstairs to the room beside his room and unpacks.

Sara's POV: I didn't think he would do such a generous thing like this. Living in a new home would be the start of our new life together. Well, time to get some sleep. I've been tired the whole time.

Alan walked out of the room and went downstairs. Sara laid down on the bed and fell asleep.

8 hours later

Sara wakes up and rose from her bed. She smelled something from the table. Alan is sitting at the table eating french fries and pogos. Sara went to the kitchen and looked at Alan.

Sara: You cooked them yourself?

Alan: Yes. Did you like the new house?

Sara nodded. Alan smiled and went back to eating. Sara walked to the table and sat beside him.

Sara: So... when's a good time to get a job?

Alan looked at her.

Alan: I don't know. I think you'll get a job someday. You know?

Sara: Where are you going to work at?

Alan: I'm looking up right now. Maybe I'll work at KFC. Sara. If you ever wanted to get a job, I suggest watching some training videos. They sometimes help.

Sara slowly stood up from the chair and walked to the couch. She then sat down and turned on the Smart TV. Alan finishes eating his food and cleans the dishes. After cleaning, Alan texts Chief Blackwolf about having a job.
