Hunter Exam

Gon pov:
We finally got to the restaurant thing where the exam was being held that year. If I'm gonna be honest I'm still a little confused about the ordering food part but whatever. When we walked out of the double elevator thingy there was a giant room with a few people in it. Right after we walked in a weird person bean thing handed us numbered badges. Hisoka got number 44 while I got number 45.

After we got our badges Hisoka and I split up. I was a little concerned because this was my fist mission and I had to study him but I decided it was fine he can take care of himself. I waited around for a little while. I was watching all the applicants come into the room when a boy with white fluffy hair, blue eyes, and a skate board walk into the room. He looked around my age so I was pretty interested in him and wondered why he was here.

I decided that I would go say hi but as soon as I was about to walk over a voice came from the wall at the back of the room. When I turned to look the wall just started to raise. I then saw a man with purple hair and what looked like a mustache coming out of his nose.
"Hello applicants I am the proctor of the first stage of the exam. You may call me Satotz. For now all I ask of you is to follow me." And with that Satotz started walking away. All of the people followed him willingly.

After a few minutes the people in front of me started to jog. So to keep up I just went along with it. We started to pick up the pace after a while. I was getting kinda bored but then I heard a man yelling. I went to check it out and saw that he was yelling at the boy from before. I sped up a little to se what he was yelling about.
"Hey kid have some respect for the exam! You shouldn't be skate boarding." Said what looked like a middle aged man in a blue suit with a brief case.
"I don't think he is doing anything wrong." I chimed in. "This is an endurance test and he happened to bring a skate board so why not use it?" I said. "Well I guess your right." The man in the suit said. Just then the boy did a cool trick and jumped off his skate board.
"Well I guess I can run for a bit." He stated nonchalantly. He started to run by my side. "Hi my name is Gon nice to meet you!" I said cheerfully. "Oh uh... nice to meet you Gon my name is Killua." He said. "Well anyway how old are you Gon?" Killua asked me. "Me? I'm 12 what about you Killua?" I asked genuinely curious. "I'm 12 too." Killua stated. "Wow we are the same age! That's so cool!" I said excitedly. "Ya what a coincidence." Killua agreed. "Well why are you doing the hunter exam Killua?" I wondered. "Well to tell you the truth it sounded fun." He replied. "What are you doing it for?" He asked. Shoot! I couldn't just tell him that I was here for a secret mission for the group of some of the most wanted people in the world. "Oh uhhhh... My dad was a hunter. But Um I never got to meet him since he left me with uhhhhh my... Aunt ya my aunt! So I uhh wanted to see why he left me for a job. I mean a job so good he wanted to leave his son? So I decided umm that I would become a hunter to see why it was such a cool job." I said. Oh. My. God. IM SO STUPID WHO WOULD BELIEVE THAT!?!! Well I mean it was partially truthful my dad did leave me but I have no idea why. "Wait so let me get this strait (He's not jk jk...😏)you want to be a hunter to figure out why your dad left you and you have no idea even what kind of hunter he is?" Killua asked looking a little weird. "...Yes?" I said still a little unsure of my story. "BAHAHAHAHAH I CANT BELIEVE THAT YOU WOULD DO THAT JUST TO FIGURE OUT WHY YOUR DAD LEFT!! THATS HILARIOUS! HAHAHAHHA" Killua started bursting out laughing. "Hey! It's not that funny." I pouted a little. Well I can't believe he went with it.

"Hey Gon I have a question." Killua said. "Go ahead I'm all ears." I responded. "Will you race me to the end?" He asked. I looked at him smiled then said "It's on!" And started running. He soon caught up and we started weaving through the crowd. 'I think I'm going to be good friends with Killua ' I thought as I passed Hisoka jogging next to a weird looking man with golden pins in his and head.

Done with chapter 3! Sorry it was a bit short. Also with the grammar I don't think there have been too many mistakes but I'm 13 so sorry if there is anything misspelled or weirdly worded. Anyway I'll most likely update tmrw so ttyl!
