Gon pov:

The girl looked my age or a little bit older. I walked past the line just to see what would happen. As soon as my foot touched the line, the staff she was holding was brought down onto my shoulder. Just before the hit landed I reached up with my other arm and stopped the blow. She looked a little shocked. I then took my foot off the line and sat down.
"What are you doing?" She asked with an inquisitive look on her face.
"Well I mean if you won't let me pass maybe I can convince you. I did already befriend Killua so this shouldn't be too hard." I stated simply.

She down at me then sat across from me past the line.
"Fine then if you can convince me that you're master Killua's friend then I will see if you can talk to him." She said looking straight forward into my eyes.
"Ok then. Well for starters, hello my name is Gon nice to meet you!" I said with a smile." "Ok then well nice to meet you Gon my name is Canary." Canary answered. "Tell me how you met master Killua." She said. "Well we were both in the Hunter exam. And we're the same age. So we kinda stuck together. But what happened was a man was yelling at him for skate boarding during part of the exam. I thought that since he happened to bring it that it should be fine. Then he jumped of his skate board and we raced to the top. Loser has to buy the other dinner. But we ended up tying so I'm gonna pay for his and he'll pay for mine. But I need to get him back to pay for his dinner." I said recalling what happened. "Ok then how did you know we lived on Kukuroo mountain and that master Killua would be here." She asked. "Well we were on a airship and he was telling me about how he hates his family and that he doesn't want to be the heir. He then he said on his way out he stabbed his mother and brother. And then at the end of the exam I saw that Illumi his older brother was taking to him he then forfeited the match and left. I asked Illumi where he went and said he was here." I explained. "Ok and finally what does Killua look like and his likes and dislikes." Canary asked the last question. "Well he is about as tall as me maybe a little taller. He has white fluffy hair and very pale skin, he has deep blue eyes that kind of look like a cat eyes. Last time I checked he was wearing a blue long sleeve turtle neck with a white v-neck over it with purple shoes and blue shorts. He loves chocolate and those little bunny lollipop things, and he doesn't really like his family I think." I listed off the things I can remember. "Well I do think you have met him but I don't know if you are best friends." Canary said. Then all of a sudden someone shot her.

I looked over and saw a woman with what looked like a visor with a red dot in the middle. "I'm so sorry for interrupting but she seemed like she was giving a little too much information. Oh I guess I haven't introduced myself, hello I am Killua's mother and I have a message he told me to give you." Said the strange woman. "Killua says that he feels so bad that he left us he has shut himself in solitary confinement. And told me to tell you to not worry about him and go home." Said Killua's mom. Then all of a sudden she started screaming "NO NO HE CAN'T DO THAT DOES HE HAVE ANY IDEA HOW IMPORTANT THIS TIME IS FOR HIM?!!?" The woman screeched. I had no idea what was going on so I just walked past her. She then took off running in a different direction into the woods. I just kept on walking.

Soon I saw a giant house. I went up and knocked on the door. A tall man that looked like he was about to find his 13th reason why answered the door. He looked at me and then said "Are you Gon?" "Umm yes how did you know?" I asked. "Well I got a call from security saying that a kid master Killua's age saying he was master Killua's best friend opened the second door on the gates with ease and wasn't even scared when he saw Mike was on his way up." "So I'm guessing that was you." He said in a matter of fact tone. "Oh well nice to meet you. But what's your name?" I wondered. "Oh my apologies, my name is Gotoh." Gotoh said. "Well nice to meet you but can I see Killua now?" I almost demanded. "Well he is on his way now." Gotoh answered. "Oh ok. But wait didn't his mom say that he wouldn't be seeing me?" I was very confused. "Well his father and grandfather want him to have friends so they let him come." "Oh ok-"But I was interrupted.

"GON!" I turned around and saw Killua running towards me. "KILLUA!" I said happily and ran at him. We then connected and gave each other a big hug. "Man you look like crap." I said taking a good look at him. "Whatever" he said rolling his eyes at me. I then let out a little laugh. "Ok so can you come with me I want you to meet my family." I said excitedly. "Ya let's get outta here before my mom comes and drags me back." He said. I chuckled then started walking away.

"But what do you mean family won't we have to go far away or whatever?" He asked. "Oh right we'll I kinda lied I don't actually have a family but I have something like one... kind of." I said not sure if I should call the troupe one big 'happy' family or not. "Oh umm ok then let's go." He said. "But before we leave. What do you think about the Phantom Troupe?" I asked a little hesitantly. "Well I know for a fact that they are really strong and that they are murderers and theives." Killua said recalling what he can remember about them. "Well that actually raised me." I said apprehensively. "What?! That's so cool! I knew you were stronger than you were letting on." He said with a smirk. By this time we were at the gates and we opened the doors together this time getting to the 4th with ease. "Heheh ya sorry I'm kinda a secret too so you can't tell anyone." I whispered to him. "Well figures I mean what would happen if the world knew of a child that was being raised by some of the strongest people on the planet." He said scratching his temple. "Well I'm not that strong I mean I still haven't figured out what kind of nen ability I want." I said thinking about it. "Oh what's nen I swear I've heard of it before. But I can't put my finger on it." Killua said thinking. "Oh well it's *insert basic nen explanation*" (I'm sorry but I refuse to think about nen more than I have to.) It took a little while but I explained the basics of nen to him and he actually caught on pretty quick. We were in a taxi now and on our way to town where we would get a hotel and stay the night.

Done with chapter 5! Sorry for not updating yesterday I had a life to take care of. Anyway sorry about making the getting Killua back part so confusing I can't quite remember what happens. Oh I just remembered that Gon just left Canary... Just pretend he carried her to the house and stuff I'm to lazy to go back and fix it. Also let me know if the chapters are too long cuz I will shorten them if needed. Will prob update tmrw. Ttyl
