Emerald finished helping her daughter getting ready and turned her around. There was no doubt that she was the most beautiful bride that she ever saw
"You look beautiful, my daughter" Emerald said and put a hand against Stella's cheek "But I still have to beg one last time. Please, Stella, I plead for you not to marry Elijah"
Stella let out a sigh of exhaustion
"Why do you hate him so much?"
"It's not him that I hate, it's his family. Magna saw it. She had a vision that the Mikaelsons will be your disgrace" Magna was Emerald's second mother. She is the one who gave her a house to live in when Sebastian kicked her out of their house. But that, is a story for later......
Stella put both hands on her mother's face
"Mother, I love him. I want to be his wife, to be the mother of his kids, and to get old by his side. Father gave me his blessing, please, do the same thing" Stella pleaded
Emerald looked down at her feet. Stella saw how the woman was thinking hard, probably going against her own pride to agree with her daughter and give in
The mother looked up and took a step back
"Forgive me, my daughter, but I cannot agree or be happy for this monstrous moment. This will be your end" Emerald said before leaving her daughter's room
Stella felt incredibly sad for seeing her mother against her wish on the day of her marriage. The girl sat down on her bed that was nothing more than a few blankets
Why couldn't her mother be glad that her daughter was happy?
What could possible be so horrible that Magna told her mother?
The door was opened and Alexander, seeing his sister almost crying, ran to her and hugged her
"What is going on, sister? Why aren't you happy? Don't you want to marry Elijah?" The boy start asking a lot of questions
"That's the thing I want the most. Mother justmade me sad by not giving me her blessing" The girl said while wiping a tear
Alexander snorted
"Of course she wouldn't" He got angry and got up from their spot"But if it was her precious Dominic, she would be jumping of happiness"
"Alexander, it's not like that. Mother loves us" Stella said also getting up
"Are you trying to fool me or yourself?" He got close to his sister and kissed her forehead "Emerald only loves Dominic. Now we know why"
