"Wow, I only started yesterday, yet I'm already a celebrity." Luka boasted as he took the who knows how many pictures of himself that day.
Reggie made a sneering remark. "Perhaps it's because you always post thirst traps?"
"I leave people thirsty?" Luka chuckled, his brows furrowed in slight bemusement.
"Yeah," Reggie scoffed yet once again. "You leave people thirsty for your ass."
Luka's always been obsessed with his phone the moment he bought a new one. After taking photos of shells, Luka couldn't bring himself to stop playing around with Reggies phone. It was as if he were a photographer who couldn't stop himself from snapping shots of literally anything. He's also been enamoured with the few games Reggie has on his phone, and he's gone so far as to download a few more for Luka. But Luka is particularly interested in the camera feature, and he is completely captivated with Snapchat and its filters. Reggie even set up an Instagram account for him, and as you already know, he's turned into a bit of a thirst trap as he exclusively posts shirtless photos.
He is never embarrassed when he takes pictures in front of Reggie, and he frequently brings Reggie into the frame in order to capture a picture of the two of them together. Reggie's camera roll has never been more cluttered in his life, especially not with weird items he'd never shoot, such as a stack of books or some of the food Reggie brings back, or even close up photos of his own scales and Reggies skin.
He's never had the heart to delete any of them, albeit, particularly because Luka likes to swipe through his pictures and reflect back at them. He gets extremely excited when he notices that Reggie has uploaded his own photo, which is generally just a meme he finds amusing, though Luka has no idea what it means.
"Hm," Luka hummed, his intrigued face inching in closer to the lit-up screen, which was most likely at maximum brightness. "What is this play that everyone is so thrilled about?"
"A play?" Reggie repeated stupidly, crawling over to him after stringing up some more fairy lights Luka has grown to cherish. He stared at the hued phone that practically blinded his vision, but he managed to find himself looking at a title that read 'The Oceans Monsters.' The ocean was depicted under that title, and if you looked close enough, you would see tails sticking out from the water which had belonged to mermaids. But they were simply just props.
Reggie didn't like the sound of it, though, particularly given the title. "It won't be interesting." He grumbled and decided to return his attention to the cave's lights.
"What even is a play?" Luka inquired, evidently intrigued. "Perhaps if you told me about it, it would be interesting." He smiled, lifting himself up with the help of his elbows, waggling his tail as if he were an enthusiastic dog about to receive a treat.
"Well it's...uh.." Reggie stumbled over his words, unsure of how to express himself in a way that Luka might understand. That is, until he noticed the stack of books Luka had piled earlier in order to photograph them, and that gave him an idea. "It's like the books I read to you, except it's not all in the imagination. It's like...your imagination has been brought to life so that others can see it for themselves."
Luka, on the other hand, simply inclined his head in response, puzzledly looking at Reggie.
Reggie sighed. "Ah, never mind. It's uninteresting, and that's all you need to know about it-"
"No no!" Luka quickly interrupted, placing the phone down. "It sounds interesting to me! You know how fascinated I am by the things you tell me."
"Sure, but this won't interest you."
