It's October thirty first. Halloween is finally here. Not only it's Halloween, we have a Masquerade Ball today

I was waiting for Neville to ask me to be his date, but he never did

I waited ever since Professor Dumbledore announced it to everyone but he never asked me

All of my friends already got asked out by there boyfriends or other people

"Hasn't Neville already asked you to be his date?" Pansy asked

"No. Today the Masquerade Ball and no one asked me to be their date. I should probably not go." I said

"Oh. But do you have a dress?"

"Mhm. I got everything but not a fucking date." I said

"You can come with me and Blaise. We won't mind." She said

"No it's fine. I'll be ok." I said

"You sure?" She asked. I nod my head

"Alright if you say so."

I gave her a small smile

It's weird of Neville. It's like he's ignoring me even if I didn't do anything to him. Something off

Me and Draco went to our class. We only had a half day today

"Longbottom asked you got yet?" Draco asked

"Nope. Maybe he's nervous and can't do it." I said

"I don't know about that Y/N." He said

I turn to look at him

"What do you mean?" I said confused

"I saw him go up to Weasley and asked her something. I think he asked her to be his date." He said

That's when I started thinking. Would Neville really asked Ginny out and not me? Does he not love me anymore? Oh great

"Are you sure about that?" I asked

"I don't know but I have a feeling." He said

I got quiet

"Look I didn't mean to upset you. But you should go and talk to him." He said

"Alright fine." I said

"Come on let's get to class before we're late." He said

I nod my head and we walk together to class

A few hours passed and everyone was getting ready

I was helping Pansy get ready. I was doing her short, soft, thin black hair

"Y/N It's fine. I can do my hair. You go and get yourself ready." She said

"No it's fine. I'm not going anyways." I said still doing her hair

"And why is that?"

"I just don't feel like going." I said

She turn to look at me

"But you have been dying to go. All you were talking about is the ball for weeks and now you don't want to go." She said

I nod my head

"Come on Y/N. Let's have fun. Cause this might never happen again. We should have fun like what teenagers do." She said

Than I started thinking if I should go or not

"Just think about. Even if you don't have a date, at least have fun with your friends."

"Ok ok I'll think about it." I said
