Name: Arcturus
Alias: the one that carries divine reckoning, the ancient evil (it's what skull knight refers him as), the angel of storms
Appearance:
Background: no one knows much about Arcturus' past, but it is believed that he may have been around since the ice age (like a prehistoric version of void). He was once a Neanderthal (presumably a hunter or even a chieftain) at that time and was well liked by his tribe, until he discovers the crimson behelit one day. The next day, a rival tribe captured him while he and his hunting party was busy hunting mammoths. One of the members of the rival village tortured him for months until an arrow pierced his left chest (hence the hole in his god hand form), with so much despair is what activates his crimson behelit. He struggled to breath as the arrow punctured his left lung, however, he saw a small heart shaped entity (If you considered the idea of evil canon, then at the time it was small and weak) that offered him revenge on the rival tribe but at the cost of his own tribe.
Without hesitating, he accepts the offer thus brands not only the rival tribe but his tribe with the primitive form of the brand of sacrifice. Unearthly creatures came from the darkness and destroyed not only his tribe but the rival tribe that tortured him, however, he slowly transformed into a ghastly red colored wispy cloud like humanoid with no eyes (hence the empty eye sockets in his god hand form). The sites of the tribe that Arcturus belonged to before he became the very first god hand member, and the rival tribe is considered the very first holy sites by the holy see as the testament of the first judgement (the location of both tribes has that image of two brands of sacrifice on the ground that the clergy believed that it is where the first act of god has happened). Even as the centuries go by, he still exists in the astral realm to consult with future members of the god hand as a mentor figure. However, the holy see views him as the first angel thus canonized him as a figure of divine retribution.
Personality- being the very first member since prehistoric times (specifically, the ice age), he's rather cunning and manipulative as the time goes by. He genuinely looks down on humans as flawed beings that are bound by causality and misery, but he couldn't wrap his mind about humans having the ability to defy fate and destiny. If he's present at the ceremony where Griffith is reborn as the fifth god hand member, then he speaks to everyone in a rather formal manner even though he's not above at referring the sacrificial offerings (the original band of the hawk) as pitiful worms that are bound to one person's destiny.
Powers:
Corporealization- like all god hand members, he can manifest a physical form. Although, he prefers using clouds as a physical vessel in order to interact with the physical realm.
Cloud manipulation- he can conjure up storms, tornados, cyclones, etc. He can also shoot electricity from his fingers, even though he can dissipate into a cloud form as a self defense from physical and magical attacks.
Causal awareness- he and the rest of the members of the god hand can perceive the flows of causality, but only to an extent that barely borders on omniscience. This enables him to foresee almost any possibility and influence the course of events to ensure one possibility becomes a reality. He is not omniscient, therefore, he cannot predict absolutely everything.
Voice- if he's in the anime, I can imagine his voice sounding rather sinister, soft, and whispery (best described as the wind blowing the dead leaves).
Trivia: his name, Arcturus, is the name of a star in the bootes constellation (since the god hand members are named after sci fi novels).
