Once dawn had arrived and the light was shining through the window Kaeya rubbed his EYE(S???!!) and groaned into Albedo's shoulder.
"What's wrong my love?" He asked, his voice still raspy from sleep.
"I'm just sorry for acting out last night. I was do desperate and couldn't bear to be without you." Albedo reached back to rub Kaeya's head as he continued. "Are you feeling all right on your end? Can you forgive me?"
Albedo shuffled and turned around to face Kaeya. He hummed in thought, fake of course. He was teasing him and Kaeya pouted.
"I suppose. You're so charming, I wouldn't want you to leave me and mess around with some other boy." Kaeya smirked. "Goodness what a poor soul they'd be, having to put up with your antics." Albedo added, he was feeling offly confident this morning.
"Ah but you seem to like me just fine." Kaeya remarked as he propped his head on his hand.
"You're a smug bastard you know that?" Albedo giggled and gave him a short kiss and got up. They both yawned and stretched before moving over to the kitchen.
Albedo eyed a painting on the wall and ran his finger on it. "You've decorated."
Kaeya nodded, "You didn't like the simplicity, and honestly neither did I." Albedo smiled a bit and poured them both coffee.
"I guess we're both changing for the better, huh?"
That was what Kaeya wanted to hear so badly. He was scared that he was hurting Albedo, being a burden. He knew he was busy, top alchemist, a prodigy.
When Albedo turned to him his face when gentle, he was so kind to him, unlike the cold front he often put up or simply how his actions often seemed. It seems his morning confidence had worn off and he was as elegant and collected as usual once more, though, Kaeya didn't mind his off-handed remarks.
"Thanks for the coffee." Kaeya smiled and helped Albedo get his clothes and coat after. "You'll be taking the food on the road?" Kaeya inquired, a little worried for the alchemist's well-being. Albedo nodded.
"Promise me you'll stop and eat?
"Albedo grabbed Kaeya's hand and gave him a soft smile, "I promise." Kaeya returned his smile and waved him goodbye. Bidding farewell to his beloved once again, but this time he felt much more content about it.
