Kaeya was taken back by Albedo's question. "Well, I could definently see us getting married." Kaeya smiled and looked at Albedo.
"Honestly, now that I'm with you I can't imagine myself without you."
Albedo smiled, "Whenever I think about my future, of course I do think about the progression of my work, but I also think of waking up next to you. I can't help but wonder what our future will hold for us."
The two of them drew closer, sharing warmth."Ahem." Diluc cleared his throat. "You're in public, please save the excessive PDA for home."
Kaeya scowled and finished his wine. Albedo turned to hide his smile.
After a while Klee came up to them.
"Albedo!""Yes Klee?"
"Do you mind if I stay with Lisa for the night? She said she would read me lots and lots of stories! And could use my help on some papers!"
Kaeya and Albedo looked at eachother, Lisa was using Klee to get work done faster. "Sure, just don't stay up too late." Albedo sighed and watched as she skipped away.
"So...would you like to stay at my house tonight?" Kaeya asked. He immediately looked away from Albedo, embarrassed. "I mean, since Klee won't be there, I can keep you company."
Albedo chuckled. "You can be a little more forward than that." Albedo leaned in. "I'd love to." Albedo kissed Kaeya's cheek and drank the rest of his wine.
The Calvary Captain was so happy, he would be able to make dinner with the Chief Alchemist, and breakfast! He would get to hold him at night and wake up to him.
"Tch, you two are such fools." Diluc uttered, exiting Kaeya out of his daze.
"What do you mean by that?" Kaeya was interested in Diluc's reasoning, but also mad at him for calling him a fool, just a sibling rivalry of sorts.
"I don't doubt that you two are inlove, it's just that love is a dangerous thing." Diluc was washing a glass with a cloth, smiling sadly.
"I was inlove once. A long time ago, a kind man from an aristocratic family." Kaeya looked surprised.
"I didn't realize you were also of the male pursuit." Kaeya joked. "So where is he now, did you get anywhere with him?"
Diluc's smile dropped. "No, after father died I didn't hold any gatherings, which is the only time I ever saw him."
"That's unfortunate, but it isn't too late." Albedo chimed in. "It wouldn't hurt to try and get a hold of him."
Diluc set down the glass, flustered. Kaeya had never seen him like this."I suppose, but I've been fine on my own, so does it matter?"
"That's where you're wrong my dear brother." Kaeya knew exactly the words to say. "I could see myself being with someone, but I never thought it would bring me this much joy. It filled a hole in my heart."
Albedo smiled. "I agree."
Diluc put his fingers on his temples. "Just...please stop confusing me. I'll be fine. Though...I'll think it over."
Kaeya laughed. "Well I think we should head home now, see ya Romeo."
Diluc swore at him and poured himself...wine? That's not really like him Kaeya thought. He must've really liked this guy.
Note: I'm probably not gonna go too into Diluc's little crush because it's not something I've really had enough ideas about to write another chapter about yk? But the next chapter is gonna be shorter and I'll probably write it tomorrow <3
