Chapter 8

Victoria Pov

I was sitting on the bed next to Mitsuba since Yoichi was asleep. One day it has been since they woke up and was able to talk with them. I turn to look at Yoichi and smile when I see Kimxuki right by his side. I turn to Mitsuba and give another drawing that I made to her. She grabs it and looks at it. She then slowly reaches out and pats my head. I immediately smile and lay down next to her.

"How have you been since the past few days?" Mitsuba asks me slowly turning her head towards me. I bit my like with or not to tell her everything that had been happening. After they have woken up no one informs them about what's going on recently. Not even Shinoa told them. Then learn about it soon or later but maybe it is important to tell them.

"I've been. . .not going to lie I feel guilty. If I didn't go then maybe you wouldn't have gotten so hurt." I felt tears streaming down my face but I was trying to stop since eI feel like I was ruining the moment. I felt Mitsuba's hand touch my head and she pulled me towards her. "Shh." I hear her say as I cry into her chest. Damn it Victoria don't cry! I sniff as I wipe my eyes and see Mitsuba giving me a warm smile.

"I don't care if I got hurt my demon will probably heal. But I don't how I would live if I let those bloodsuckers take you away" Mitsuba said wiping the remainder of my tears away. She pulls me towards her so she can hug me. I felt so wanted in her embrace that I was about to fall asleep.

"I can tell that you've been keeping that guilty in for a long time. No child should keep that much in" She whispered into my ear which makes me gasp a bit. A few tears left my eyes so I nuzzle myself into Mitsuba chess. I felt so safe that no one can hurt me. "I knew when Yoichi wakes up again that he forgive you. You're his family he may scold you but you learn from this" Mitsuba gives a kiss on my forehead and hums a song.

I slowly started drifting off to sleep as the last thing I saw was Mitsuba smiling face.

Krul Pov

I stare at the bay seeing the ship in the distance. I clench my fist and was grateful that I had a long sleeve to cover it up. I see from the corner of my eye Ferid, Crowley, Chess, Horn, Lacus, Rene, and some of the other lower vampires.

"Ready for the stage~" I hear Ferid says coming next to me. He continues looking at the ships but continues t talk to me. I sigh but hear several grades that make me glare at him.

"I wonder what your planning since I already come up with a plan to get out of this stage" Ferid place one of his hands on his hip and give his cheery usual smile.

Ferid your head must have exploded when hear Urd coming this soon but my plan will get out of here alive. I smile which Ferid notices and chuckle.

The ships so come in and started doing. I awaited and hear the door latch open and look up to see three figures and their factions. I see Ky Luc on the right. . .oh god Les is here. Why allow that brat to come here? I swear Urd going insane these days. I then notice my actual threat as he stares and gives an emotionless face. They come off the ship and onto the doc as my faction respectfully bows to Urd.

"Lord Urd it is a pleasure to see you" I say coming up from my bow. Urd looks towards until his eyes reach Ferid but soon focuses his attention on me.

"Krul what this I hear multiple attacks on the human" Urd asks me. I was taken aback before coming up with an answer.

"Lord Urd didn't the council say we should hurry up and attack the humans so we can end them quickly. They now have an seraph of the end we can't let them strike first or not my kind of is down" I say.

"You wouldn't be in this situation if you kill all the seraph of the end." Les said. I decided to let that comment side for now but after this I kill him.

"Your attack has become sloppily that it is laughable. I am quite disappointed in your call and how you run Japan." Urd says turning to Les. "I may consider that offer for you to take over Japan" Les immediately smiles at what Urd says. My blood was boiling but decided to keep calm.

"Yes Urd my attack has become sloppy so I must apologize. But destroying humans wasn't my main goal. I had intel from one of my ears." I say. Les snarls that ruined his moment. "What was your other motive?" Urd asks looking towards me.

"The report about your daughter. " I was my hand to look at my nails. I look at Urd who was giving me his attention. Now I must give in to Ferid after this information. I was about to speak until a chuckle interrupted me.

"My Krul way to save yourself. Bring information about Urd's daughter just for him to get him off your back." Ky said leaning down towards my eye level.

"What have you done over the years Ky?" I ask pulling out from my sleeve several big yellow files. I see their faction all confused but mostly shocked.

"Over the years I have lol into 200 descriptions that look similar to your daughter. I have captured more humans and gone over my supply just to match any girl that looks like your daughter. This is why I have started server games and as the council for more food imports." Less was about to say something when Urd cut him off.

"Continue"

I smile and rest my hand on my hip. "The newest report that you heard might be your daughter. Several witnesses heard one of the humans say Victoria. The same name that is your daughter. Furthermore, the girl lives with the human and I can't get her. She is the most difficult to get since she has been with several strong soldiers in the human army. The reason why I have been increasing attacks." I waited for dramatic paste. I was dying of embarrassment! Why did I listen to Ferid when he suggest doing the dramatic pause?

"I assume that the human army is growing suspicious of this girl that ran into the battlefield. They will most likely experiment on her since she disobeys leaving the walls" I say. I walk in front of Urd ignoring Ky Luc and Les Karr's protest for me to stay away.

"We must act fast Urd. Right now she is the top lead and if we wait even more then I believe will lose her forever." Krul said seriously. Urd says nothing and walks past me. I was confused until he looks back at all of us.

"Why are you standing around have a lead and I will not let it slip." Urd said which hears several vampires gulp. Urd's faction followed him while Ky Luc and Les Karr glare at me. I decided to not give in to their glare and walks past them. I order Rene to carry the files and put them on my desk in my office.

As my faction walked beside I slowly look towards Ferid who was looking straight forwards.

Why were you looking into Urd's daughter?
