Well, I know I'm not dead. That was my first conscious thought. All the millenia I had been in heaven it was never this dark, and there was always a feeling of weightlessness, and it's not so damn noisy. I thought, Natsus obnoxious laughter invading my eardrums. The next laugh though, had me tumbling out of the bed I had been laying in and dashing through the curtain that separated me from the sounds of the others.

Levy.

The noise stopped as eleven pairs of eyes looked at me, though the only ones I saw were the bright hazel ones. Framed by hair and freckles as blue as the sky, a bright smile on her face. "Dude you interrupted my story!" Natsu shouted, but Lucy elbowed him hard. I didn't hear him, to focused as Levy stood and gracefully strode to me, no sign of pain in her movements and her skin radiant instead of pale. She stood in front of me, her eyes and smile bright, "Welcome back Gajeel," she said quietly. I smiled a little and reached up, gently caressing her face. "I still prefer Gabriel, " This new voice had my head snapping up, locking eyes with the tiny blonde sitting at the front of the room. Now that my attention was away from my tiny Geist, I could see we were inside a brand new tour bus. Much bigger than the last and it comfortably fit everyone, including both guardians.

"Mavis?" I asked, gently putting an arm around Levy. I wasn't sure what Mavis was doing here, and I knew that if she were to come after Levy for what we did before, I would stop her. Mavis suddenly laughed, and I knew she had heard my thoughts. "Be at ease Gabriel. " She said gently, and I automatically was. "I wanted to speak with all of you, but you took your sweet time waking up." She said with a giggle and I frowned. "How long have I been out?" I asked. Laxus snorted and I noticed his arm around Canas shoulders, "Whole damn week. Between all the blood you lost and that devils poison, I'm surprised it wasn't longer." I frowned and he pointed to my arm. I looked down to the hand I had cut for the seal and nearly jumped.

Around my forearm, where I thought someone had grabbed me, there was red scaring that looked vaguely like a claw mark. "Lucifers touch is poisonous to our kind," Mavis said gently. "You were lucky to survive Gabriel, pulling a stunt like that." I looked up at her but she was smiling fondly. "You have all amazed me. I did not think love, or even comradery was possible between our kind." She looked at everyone with a bright smile. "And it all started with you, Levy." She looked down at said girl, who returned her smile. "You have all shown me that angels and demons... That people can indeed change. And maybe this is an era where change can bloom and grown into something beautiful." She hopped off her seat, and I'm sure it made Levy feel great to be taller than someone. Mavis stopped in front of us and took one of Levys hands and then one of mine," You have my blessings, and I hope your love can grow into something that can shape the world." Her grin brightened as she turned to face the rest of the bus. "All of you have my blessings!" She called, before a flash of light blinded us all. Once we had blinked away the annoyance, Mavis was gona, her laughter ringing in the air.

"Well, she's a character." Levy said as she smiled up at me. I grinned before lifting the tiny woman into a spin, causing her to squeek and giggle. I held her against my chest, looking into her beautiful hazel eyes. The look she gave me seemed to speak a thousand words as it softened, her tiny hand caressing my face and I found myself leaning into her touch. "You know your an idiot right? What you did was stupid." She said quietly, a small smile on her lips. I grinned, "That's why you love me though." The faintest blush lit up her cheeks as she smiled wider. "Yeah it is." I smiled before finally pulling her into a long kiss, I didn't think I'd ever get to do this again. Maybe this is heaven.

I watched in amusement as the angels rushed around backstage, stage hands going this way and that. One gave up trying to get Gray to put his shirt on, three were following Laxus around as he shouted orders, never looking up from his clipboard. A hairdresser was frantically following Lucy around as she flitted everywhere looking for this and that. It was chaotic. I loved it. "This place is insane," Cana said from her place beside me on a stack of crates, a flask in hand. "Of course, it's the first show since everything has calmed down. Everyone's excited!" I said with a grin. It had been nearly two months since Lucifer had nearly been freed, and the world was finally getting back to normal. By some incredible luck, our true identities had stayed hidden, so none of the humans around were aware of the demonic or angelic presence that still lingered.
