"Ok. Subject is female, likely 18 to 20 years of age." Sam was talking for the video for results and information. After Steve had showed his face, Sam knew he had to leave as soon as he can to get him, Cap, and the walker he had trapped back to the house and in the lab. He had sedated the walker for she won't bite or escape and attack.
"Sedative only sedates effectively at six times the human dose. Core temperature 106 Fahrenheit, pulse 200 epm. Respiration elevated, PAO2," Sam had hooked the walker up to machines and tied her down to a gurney by her arms and legs. He had the lab lights down low where it won't burn the walker. He pulled out a small light to check her eyes.
"Pupils fully dilated. Non reactive to light." He says as he puts that light down to pick up a UV light and turns it on and puts it over her arm where it slowly burns.
"Extreme reaction to UV exposure. Symptoms and tissue samples confirm subject is infected with KV." He was doing this for who ever sees this video, if there are anyone else alive.
"Vaccine test GA series, serum 391 compound 6. Commencing human trials." He grabs a needle and fills it up with the same tested cure that was used on the rat. Sam sticks the needle on her arm and injected her with the test cure.
"Respiration slowing. Pulse 190, core temperature. We may have something here." He says as he sees her heart dropping to a human beating. Her breathing slows with her temperature making her almost human. Till she flat lines and taking her last breath before she dies.
"GA series serum 391 compound 6, ineffective on humans." Sam sighs then brings another needle and injecting her with the virus that made her a walker, which made her come back alive in a short of way.
"Test results linked to this entry saved on six redundant drives. Still no cure. Day 1001. We came in close contact with a hive today.
Blood tests confirm that i remain immune
to both the airborne and contact strings." He was up stars in the kitchen making a video diary. Cap comes up to him and puts her head on his knee while he pets her."Canine remains immune to airborne string only. You can't go running into the dark, dummy." Sam says as he looks down at her and she licks his nose.
"Vaccine trials continue. I am still unable to transfer my immunity to infected hosts.
Kripton virus is...
...elegant.
Behavioral note.
An infected male exposed himself to sunlight today." He sighs as he thinks about Steve."Its possible, decreased brain function or growing scarcity of food, is causing them to
ignore their basic survival instincts.
Social devolution appears complete.
Typical human behavior is now entirely absent...." He trails off."Why are we stopping?" Marley asks from the back seat.
"Bridge's closed, folks." An solider come up to Sam's side of the vehicle. Sam nods as he grabs the to go bag from the back and hands it to one of the soldiers they where following, then grabs Marley as she hands Cap to Y/n.
"You've got less than 10 minutes." One of them says as they push through the crowd towards the bridge where helicopters where taking people to the other side as the bridge was closed off to prevent spread.
"C'mon baby, lets go , lets go." Sam says as he holds tight to Marley in his arm and holding Y/n's hand in the other.
"Daddy." Marley mumbles as he pushes past people and follows the solider to the barrier where they are checking people for the infection.
"It's alright, c'mon." Sam says
"Mommy they have guns," Marley says as she sees more soldiers with guns preventing others to leave without being checked.
