CHAPTER 26

Today was the big day, Jungkook and Taehyung have been planning this day for awhile now. They had 2 hours till the festival opened and they both felt pretty nervous. Taehyung is currently in his own house in his room debating on what to wear. He wanted to wear something casual but also kinda out there also.

He felt pretty nervous, worried about the amount of people that were going to show up- if they will raise enough money. This was also the first time he had been home in a little while. He had been staying at Jungkook's looking after Jun when the male had training and sometimes went to stay with his basketball team as they had training early morning.

Taehyung quickly freshened up and got changed into his outfit, he heard a knock at his door and turned around to see his father. "Hey Tae" He heard his father say as he sat on the male's bed.

"I did not hear much from you this week, how was looking after Jun?" His father asked

"It was really good, he is so much like Jungkook" Taehyung replied as he stood in front of the mirror.

"I missed you" His father said, Taehyung looked at him through the mirror only to notice his dad's eye bags and his tired eyes.

"I missed you too Dad" Taehyung whispered, he felt guilty. He should be making more of an effort with his Dad but he sometimes felt like everything was always about his mother. She did not like him spending time with her own son.

And the worst part of it is that his Dad, never seems bothered by the fact they dont spend time together. "Jungkook's mother has been sending me all the stuff you and Jungkook have been doing and it looks amazing"

"The festival looks like so much fun" He said

Taehyung walked to his bag and pulled out a ticket, he walked to his dad and sat next to him. "I got this for you, Jungkook's mum is gonna be there and I thought since you guys use to be old friends that it would be nice for you to catch up with her" replied Taehyung who smiled when he saw his fathers face light up.

"Oh Tae this is awesome, I have not caught up with her in such a long time- I was surprised when she texted me" his father said.

"Thanks son" He said kissing his head before getting up

"I better get ready then" His father hummed walking out the door.

Taehyung hopes that by his father coming that he will get to experience what having fun is like, what freedom is like. After his dad left the room he quickly grabbed his things and headed outside.

He smiled when he saw Jungkook leaning against his black car "Ready to go" Jungkook smirked, eyeing Taehyung up and down. "More then ready" Taehyung replied as he walked towards the popular male who gripped the car handle to open the door.

"Lets do this" said Jungkook who's eyes scanned Taehyung who was also scanning him from head to toe.

"Must I say, you look gorgeous" commented Jungkook

Taehyung let out a giggle only thinking Jungkook was joking as he hoped into the car, little did he know Jungkook meant every word.

Taehyung was in awe as they pulled up to the festival, there were workers still there organising things. As Jungkook walked more into the venue they both were amazed with how well it turned out.

"Oh my god, is this the kissing booth" Taehyung said pointing to the booth that was in the middle of the festival. "Looks like it" Jungkook chuckled as the both stood up on the platform.

Jungkook picked up a blindfold that was on one of the stands and wrapped it around his eyes.

Taehyung chuckled when the male puckered his lips, the male stepped closer and pecked his left cheek. Jungkook's breath hitched as he felt Taehyung step closer, his heart stopped beating when he felt lips against his cheek.

He felt a rush of heat go to his head, he bit his lip-hiding a smile and took the blind fold off to see Taehyung walking off to another stand. The male let out a little chuckle before he followed the male to a food stand. "It was smart to get these food stands, will the money we get from that also go towards the fundraiser stuff" questioned Taehyung.

Jungkook nodded "Yeah everything that gets bought from here will go towards the fundraiser" he said

"Did your dad like the ticket?" Jungkook asked Taehyung who nodded his head slowly "I hope so, I think he did- he needs to know what freedom feels like" He answered

"Is your mum nice to him?" Jungkook asked started to get curious of the smaller male's mother. 

"When she wants something" replied Taehyung with a cold tone and chuckle. 

Taehyung looks at his wrist to see they had an hour left till everything opens, their friends were meant to be here any minute now. Jungkook walked towards one of the people who were setting things up when he saw a group of people enter through the corner of his eye. 

Taehyung followed the male's gaze and saw their friends by the gate getting stopped by security. 

"They are with us" Jungkook called out to the security who nodded and stepped back. They both walked towards the group and greeted them. "I missed you" Jimin said hugging Taehyung tightly who whispered "I missed you too". 

Ever since he moved schools he felt very close to Jimin, even though he was hesitant at first- he always felt safe and felt like he would never be judged. "Okay so this here is the kissing booth, you three will stand here"

"People will hand their tickets over to a worker and they will stand in front of one of you for a kiss" Jungkook said 

"Are you three still sure your okay with getting kissed by heaps of people?" questioned Jungkook

"I am so ready" Jack said smirking

"It will be his first kiss, how cute" Mark said laughing with the others 

"N-not true" Jack said rubbing the back of his neck as the walked around the grounds. 

"This all looks amazing guys." said Jin who had his arm through Namjoon's.

"All the food ready's, we basically have everything sorted- around the end of the festival there will be fireworks and down along that beach there is a campfire where there will be some people singing" Jungkook said

"That sounds so cool, I think you both will raise more than your goal" Jimin said having high hopes for his friends. 

"Put these on, just so people know you lead this festival" Taehyung said handing out all the jackets for them to wear. Jimin turned around to look at all the stalls only to see a group of people by the gate.

"Looks like some people are here early" Jimin called out causing Jungkook to turn to the gate and sigh. 

Jungkook sighed in relief to see the gate was shut so no one could get in unless they opened the gate. "Lets gather everyone up and meet by this booth" The brown haired male said watching as everyone rushed to the stalls to gather up all the workers and security.

Jungkook and Taehyung stayed by the both and watched as everyone circled around them. 

"Okay so we are gonna open any minute now, I want to go over a few things before we open" 

"If there is any violence I want them out of here, anything inappropriate I want out"

"People have to have tickets to get in"

"There are many ticket machines around the grounds and those red tickets are what is used to play the games and the orange tickets is to buy food." Jungkook finished explaining the rules and turned to look at Taehyung who smiled up at him. 

"Also all of you have your schedule breaks so please take them, also you guys dont have to pay for the food so help yourself" Taehyung said smiling as he looked around the group.

After a few more words Jungkook nodded for everyone to get back to their places and for the security guards to open the gates. As soon as the gates were open they watched people hand in their tickets and walk in. 

Taehyung was glad that Jungkook's mother hired more security as he felt like people would try slip past them.  His eyes travelled to Jungkook who gave him the warmest smile he has seen.
