Taste of Love

CHAPTER 5

"You all need to give me your topics so I can approve and make sure no one else is doing the same topic- so you can spend this class talking about your project," The professor said 

Taehyung frowned a little when Jungkook was not in class; he sat there for most of the course writing down a plan with meeting times, so it was one less thing Jungkook had to do. 

"Jungkook's here", Taehyung heard a girl say as little screams were heard, and the girls were checking their phones to make sure they looked decent. 

"Sorry I am late", Jungkook said, rushing to his table only to pull it next to Taehyung's and sit next to him.

"Sorry I am late, had to help my mum with my little brother- what's this?" Jungkook questioned, pointing toward the colourful paper in front of Taehyung.

"I a-ah organised the times for us to meet; if you c-cant meet up, then w-we can change it", Taehyung comments, not making eye contact with Jungkook. 

Jungkook found the male quite cute; he saw it adorable how shy the other male was.  

"Sarah, can you see how he looks at the new boy," Lara said to the queen b of their group. 

"Yes, I don't even understand why, like look at him- and then look at us," Sarah said, side-eyeing Taehyung.

"We will have to get Jungkook to notice you, a perfect couple, I say", Lara says

Introducing Sarah, the most popular girl in the school, she has been trying to get with Jungkook for years but fails; she believes she is his other half- meet Lara, her best friend. Well, a follower, she does whatever Sarah says no matter what- she is a total kiss ass. Most boys in the school want to get with her, but she has her eyes set on Jungkook. Jungkook only.

"I can do all these days; how about we meet at mine today, and we can go over our ideas," Jungkook said, looking at Taehyung, who nodded.

The bell rang for lunch, and they both started to pack up.

"Wait for me at this class at the end of the day, and we can go from there," Jungkook said, smiling. 

Jimin, Jin, Yoongi and Namjoon watched with their mouth agape. 

"D-did you see that?" Jin asked, pointing to Jungkook

"He just smiled," Yoongi said 

Jimin watched Taehyung pack his things. He wants to get close to the male- he wants to be his friend, but he has never had this much trouble making friends. 

"Let's go to lunch," Mark said as they walked out of the classroom.

Taehyung decided to go towards the toilets to wash his hands before eating his food; as he opened the door, he was pushed inside and heard the door shut fastly. He turned around, confused.

Only to see three girls from his class.

"So new boy gets all of Jungkook's attention, huh? You must love it", Sarah had said. 

"Why would he even like you? You're dressed horrible- you look unhealthy, and gosh, you're ugly", She stepped closer to the male and slapped his face hard. 

The slap echoed through the room, and he watched as Taehyung tilted his head down.

"You will never be worthy, " she comments before leaving the boy's toilets.

Taehyung let out a sob as he covered his mouth; he crouched down and felt blood running down his face. 

"Unworthy"

"Unworthy"

"Unworthy"

That was all that was going through Taehyung's head. 

Jungkook and his friends were sitting at the cafeteria table when Sarah and her friends came up to their table. Jungkook uttered a 'fuck my life' before looking at Sarah, who smiled at him. 

"Hey Jungkookie, I know how annoying that new kid is to you and how much he was getting in your way, so I had a word with him- he is crying in the bathroom now-" She said but got cut off when Jungkook stood from the table, grabbing his bag and rushing out the room.

He ran down the hall and entered the boy's bathroom to see Taehyung crouched on the floor, shaking; Jungkook called out his name- Taehyung looked up and sobbed more; his eyes got blurry, and he rocked his body back and forward.

Jungkook felt his heart shatter into pieces seeing the male like this and walked towards him. He crouched down and wrapped his arms around Taehyung; he flinched a little but soon wrapped his arms around Jungkook's neck- crying his heart out.

Jungkook picked him up, grabbed the male bag, and walked out the bathroom- no one was in the hallway, as Jungkook wanted to get Taehyung out of here before any questions were asked. 

Jungkook slowly put Taehyung in the passenger seat next to him, only to realise the male was asleep. 

Once he arrived at his house, he quickly unbuckled Taehyung's seat belt before getting out; he picked him out of the car slowly- worried he would wake him before rushing towards his house and walking up the stairs into his room. 

Jungkook placed Taehyung on the bed and put a blanket over him; he grabbed a damp towel and slowly wiped the blood off Taehyung's face. The older male thought, what happened to him? Why was he bleeding and crying?. What did Sarah say to him to get this reaction? 

Jungkook felt conflicted, he had only known Taehyung for a few days, but something about the male interested him. Something in his heart made him want to protect him from all the bad things in the world.

Little did the male know the boy he wanted to protect had been hurting for years.
