Taste of Love

CHAPTER 31

Taehyung was sat in the car next to Jungkook who was currently asleep, head rested against the seat. He had been asleep for a little while now, Taehyung did not mind- he spent most of the drive looking around Auckland. There sadly was no airport in Whitianga so they had to catch a flight to Auckland then drive 3 hours to Whitianga. 

Auckland was definitely busy, lots of buildings and cars but it was still beautiful. As the drive went on a little longer, mountains started to show- land with cows and sheep were staring to become constant and Taehyung loved it. He spent most of his time taking pictures of the beautiful view while he listened to music. A few hours after Jungkook had woke up and was pointing at all the cool hills and buildings they saw as they drove past. 

When they turned the corner on the road all he could hear was Jungkook's squeals. 

"I am guessing we are here" Taehyung asked the male who nodded with a bright smile plastered on his lips. 

Taehyung's own lips parted as he watched the car drive by lots of mini shops and beautiful beaches, it was the coolest place Taehyung has ever been. 

The cars slowly pulled into a drive way on some land, the place looked so beautiful. It has a basketball court, tennis court, a camp fire area, hammock, pool, lots of places to chill. There were also houses on the land but quite spread out. The houses were not huge. 

As the car stopped Taehyung turned around to see all the other black cars were next to theirs. Once everyone got out and grabbed their belongings they stepped forward just a bit by the door and smiled when a group came towards them. 

"Kia ora!" 

"Welcome to Whitianga, and welcome to The Aroha" 

"We are the staff who work here, I am the owner call me TK" 

"Each person will show you to your rooms and around the house" The male said 

"After you all have finished unpacking everyone will be meeting by the camp fire for a greeting" He continued. 

And just like that they were in the house, when they were about to walk in Taehyung noticed how TK pulled Jungkook into a hug talking about how it was so good to see him again. He could not help but to smile. 

"Okay first Whānau, who is sharing a room?" A beautiful women asked as she looked around the room. Jungkook slung his arm over Taehyung's shoulder to say they were sharing. 

"Okay so that works out really well" She said nodding to the staff who stood in front of each group of two or three. "Okay now everyone follow the staff who is in front of you" She commented before they started to show each pair around. 

"How's your mornings been?" The staff asked the pair who smiled

"Its been well, how about yours?" Jungkook replied

"Busy but enjoyable" She replied stopping by a door. 

"This is your guys room, I will be back down stairs for the big tour" She smiled before leaving the two alone. 

Jungkook opened the door and sighed "Back home" Jungkook said as he placed his bags by the single bed in the corner of the room, Taehyung followed his lead and did similar. 

The younger male looked around the room in awe, the place was gorgeous it was not giving off rich vibes which Taehyung liked. It had wooden floors, high ceilings, two beds in each corner with a bedside table and fluffy mat in between the beds. 

From Taehyung's bed you could see the land, which had a huge pool- workout area, you could also see a beach really close to the house. He wondered if they were able to reach it from this place. He looked to the ground to see some people playing basketball and tennis. 

"Whats your thoughts so far" Jungkook said putting away his clothes into draws, Taehyung following as he replies "Really beautiful, I can definitely see why you would come here". 

After they unpacked their belongings, they stepped downstairs to meet the others. They got shown around the area before they met everyone by the campfire. Jungkook left Taehyung to greet his long life friends who were just as excited to see him. 

The owners wanted to start speaking so everyone sat down and listened. 

"Welcome to another year at The Aroha- it is amazing to see similar faces and to also see new faces" 

"Our main priority is for you all to feel  safe, happy and most importantly to have fun" 

"Here are the staff who will not only be at your service but will also have fun with you all, join in some games and going to the beach with you all"

"We have some fun activities for the next two weeks you all are here for, since today is the start of the week- we will have a big feed tonight for everyone, we will prepare some kai (food) for you all"

"We will have water fights tomorrow after our mountain trip, later on in the week will be fireworks and some other fun stuff- you will also have plenty of time to look around the shops and look around this beautiful place"

"I will introduce myself and my team will introduce themselves- if any of you know Te Reo Māori feel free to also stand up and introduce yourself" 

Taehyung looked at Jungkook confused who leant closer to his ear and whispered "I will explain after" He nodded and focused back to the introducing. 

"Ko TK toku ingoa"

"Ko Micayla toku ingoa"

"Ko Braxton toku ingoa"

"Ko Chloe toku ingoa"

Taehyung had spent the introduction listening really carefully, the language he was hearing was beautiful. After the staff had introduced themselves they had left the floor open to anyone who was wanting to do their "Mihimhi" Taehyung was not sure what that was until Jungkook stood up. 

"Ko Geumjeongsan te mounga"
"Ko Korea ahau"
"Ko Elane toku māmā"
"Ko Jun ōku tēina"
"Ko Jeon Jungkook toku ingoa"

Taehyung's lips were parted as he watched Jungkook speak another language. It only made Taehyung think there is still so much about Jungkook they he did not know. 

After the greetings were done and for the rest of the day they got to explore the place more, Taehyung was searching for Jungkook when he saw him talking to a girl. He gulped as he watched her trace his arm. 

'Now I see why he likes it here' Taehyung thought for a second but frowned when he saw Jungkook shrug her arm off and walk away. Completely ignoring her calls for him.
