"The park same place 4pm as discussed." He said hanging up.
She put her phone down. Luca locked at her. "Is it set?"
"Yeah.’
"Are you sure you don’t want my men there?"
"I’m sure Luca. It’s best if I do this on my own. He won’t be happy if he knows I lied to him again. I want them home safe."
"So, he doesn’t know where Matteo is?"
"No."
"He’s safe Alora. We had no choice to send him there, he nearly burnt the school down. God knows what was going on in that head of his."
"He’s out of control Luca, and I’m to blame."
"No you’re not. He chose to light the match and drop it on the gasoline not you. You can’t keep blaming yourself for his actions and his stupidity."
"Well I do.’
"Well don’t. He’s in a correctional centre. He’s getting the best help possible."
"What if he finds him Luca?"
"He won’t the security is top spec, I made damn sure they were."
"What about Marco what if Raven finds him?"
"He won’t. You know no one can get into that campus."
"Not everyone is Raven, Luca. You should know that better than anyone."
"And he knows me too, so stop threating." He said pulling her close. "I love you Alora and I’ll do anything to protect you and the kids." He pressed his lips on hers kissing her passionately. He moved away. "Don’t forget you have a mic on, and don’t forget your phone it has a tracker so if he does anything dumb I’ll be able to find you. The money is there."
"Thanks Luca for everything."
"You know that I’ve always got your back, but please try and not to do this again I am not a walking bank. I had to build to get what I have. So, please don’t be so reckless in your decisions next time I won’t always be able to bale you out."
"I won’t I promise."
"You best get going." He said taking his arms from around her. "Stay safe, stay aware."
"I will." She replied picking up the brief case. She picked up her phone and slid it into her jeans pocket.
They’ll be back in no time Alora."
"I hope so." She said walking out closing the door behind her she breathed heavily looking around her the car door opened and she slipped in the door closed the car pulled away. She looked out the window hoping that Gianni would stick to his word. He’d never been good at it in the past.
The car pulled up feet away from the park the door opened. She pulled her self out. "Would you like me to wait for you mam?"
"No I’ll call when I’m ready."
"I’ll stay out of sight till then mam."
"Thank you." She smiled.
"My pleasure mam." He closed the door walking around the car opening the door getting in, closing it before driving away.
She swallowed. Her phone buzzed. She took it out of her pocket, looking at the message, “The bench by the pond two minutes or you’ll never see them again.”
She slipped the phone into her jeans pocket and walked into the park heading for the pond. He stood by the bench over looking the pond as she approached him. "I was beginning to think that you wasn’t going to show."
"Traffic."
"Should’ve gone out earlier."
"I did."
"So do you have it.?"
"Are you going to let my kids go?"
"Yes."
She pushed the brief case in front of him. "Here."
He turned taking the brief case of her placing it on the bench opening it.
"It’s all there don’t you trust me?"
"Pays to be careful." He looked at the full case. "So how did you manage to get this in five days."
"I have my contacts."
"Luca." He said closing the briefcase. Taking it off the bench gripping it tightly. "Bet he wasn’t pleased he had to part with such a large amount of money for your mistake?"
"Are you going to let my kids go?"
He took his phone. "Let them go, yes I have it, Drop them off a the school seen as we have no address for them." He said disconnecting the call. He looked at her. "Done."
"Wow you actually stuck to your word."
"I want to see my kids Alora."
"After this I’m not sure they’ll want to."
"This is not up to a bargain Alora, they’re my kids and I want to see them."
"It’s up to them not me Gianni, they’re old enough to make their own decisions."
"Where is Mateo Alora?"
"Sorry I can’t tell you."
"You know I’ll find out if you don’t tell me."
"He’s not aloud any visitors."
"Why did he get expelled?"
"Who told you?"
"Your precious son."
"Well I guess there’s something else your going to have to find out isn’t it?"
"I guess it is." He leaned forward pecking her on the lips. "I’ll talk with you soon make sure you talk to our daughter I want to be part of her life."
"I will."
"Soon Alora very soon." He said turning walking away. She turned walking away.
She called Diego to pick her up by the park entrance. She continued walking through the park, he stood in front of her she bounced off him. She looked up and he grinned. "Raven."
"Hey baby."
"I’m not your baby."
"You are and you always will be."
"Why are you here? I gave Gianni the money."
"I wanted to see you."
"Does he know your here?"
He laughed. "You’re sweet and still naive. No he doesn’t, he told me I couldn’t see you."
"So why are you here?"
"Cause I don’t listen." He wrapped his arms around her kissing her neck. "Mmh you still taste good you’re giving me a bonner right now."
"Loose me!"
He took a step back, but he continued to hold on to her. "I see Gianni wasn’t wrong you’re glowing baby."
"Don’t call me that I’m not your..."
He pressed his lips on hers kissing her.
"She’s gone sir."
"What you mean gone? You were supposed to be keeping an eye on her."
"I was, she called me to pick her up. When I got there she wasn’t there. I’ve searched the entire park grounds she’s no where, sir she’s gone."
"Find her and find out where Gianni is hiding. He’s fucking dead!"
