The ride home was quiet Domenico looked angry but she didn't want to ask why she already knew and she wanted to apologise but she didn't know how. They went to their rooms before dinner. Nicolo loosed both of them feeling then tension in the air everyone had left after dinner it was just the three of them. "Would someone like to tell me what the hell Is going on?"

"Romeo Lombardi." Domenico hissed.

"What the fuck has he done now?"

"Nothing forget it."

"I shall not forget it."

"I said I was sorry."

He looked at Val. '"Care to explain?"

"I was going to meet Bella and he."

"He was flirting with her."

"If that's what you call it."

"It's his way Val, stay away from him he's bad news."

"He's right Vallea the best thing you can do is stay away from him he's bad news and he'll drag you to hell with him if you let him."

"I can handle myself I'm not interested in what ever he has to offer. I'm friends with Bella not him so stop it." She said, standing up and storming out.

She ignored him, continuing to walk.

"Val." He said, grabbing her arm.

She turned abruptly. "What do you want?"

"I just wanted to apologise for yesterday. I had no idea you already have someone I'm sorry I should never have took my chance."

"Well you did and I doubt even if I am with someone it wouldn't make any difference to you would it Romeo?"

"Probably not. Your a hot chick what can I say."

"Whatever."

"Is like us to be friends if nothing else."

"I'm sorry I can't."

"What not you're friends with my sister."

"She's not you is she?"

"Oh I get it. They told you not to get involved with me.'" He inched closer, talking into her ear. "Well guess what princess your already involved." He said, kissing her cheek.

She swallowed.

"I thought I told you to stay the fuck away!"

"She's my friend, why should I?"

"The fuck she is, come on Val before the devil get his claws into you." Domenico said, placing his arm around her walking away.

"Oh. I already have."

He turned. "You stay away from my woman, and you dare throw your threats around. You know what I can do."

"And yet. I'm still standing."

He dropped his arm from around her and was gone. Vallea screaming him to stop, as he beat him to death. His friends pulled him away from a semi-conscious Romeo. "Stay the fuck away from her Romeo or you'll be six feet under!"

His friends pulled him away she'd never seen him fight like that he was a monster marking his territory. He place his arm over her shoulders. "Come on let's get out of here."

They all walked away in silence.

Nicolo looked at them. "Would you like to tell me what the hell happened. I had Mr. Moretti on the phone it seems your old friend is in hospital what did you do Domienico?"
