After I asked Miki to meet me again, the next day had arrived and I waited patiently by the water fountain as I wondered whether she would show up. Pacing back and forth at where we sat before, wondering if she would actually show up, I began nervously thinking if she had stood me up.

'I swear if she really stood me up, I will be so mad that I even did such an embarrassing thing as to ask her to come again!' I thought to myself as I kept thinking of the worst case scenario, 'Oh my gosh! I would be such a fool if she doesn't turn up!'

It had not even been 5 minutes since I came down earlier than the time I met her yesterday, yet I am already restless and nervous about the worst possibility. I tried sitting back down and started fuddling to calm my nerve. When it didn't work, I unconsciously began to bite my thumbnail as I stared at the ground, mumbling, "I will beat her up if she really dared to let me hanging her..."

"Oh, really? Should I start running?" A familiar voice giggled as I see a pair of shoes appear in front of me.

As I look up slowly, my eyes met with the familiar pair of green peridots. Miki grinned as she chuckled, "I wouldn't dare to let ya down!"

The feeling of uneasiness and nervousness instantly disappeared as I let out a giggle too, punching her shoulder lightly. She dramatically whined and we shared a laugh before she joined me by sitting next to me.

"So, Princess! What would you like to talk about today?" Miki teased me as I rolled my eyes in response.

She patiently waited for me to give my suggestion but I just answered, "The first thing that comes to your mind."

Miki grinned and instantly responses, "Pastries!"

Without hesitation, I began laughing as she starts telling me about the good pastries downtown and our conversation went on and on smoothly. It soon became a habit for her to ask about what I would like to talk about and me asking her to come back the next day before we part ways.

From that day I met Miss Miki Inazuma in the empty, dusty and dim lighted ballroom and somehow found her similar to me through our dreams being socially rejected, I decided to spend more time with the goofy and weirdly interesting sheep and try to find out what I could possibly want in life, especially since she understands me in some way.

To find someone who has the same perspective of society as I do is incredibly unexpected yet amazing in its own way as she share things that I never thought of and slowly being able to make me join in, which shows how different she makes me feel when I'm around her.

Miki Inazuma, truly an interesting being. She has been able to reach to me so easily with her passionate theories and fascinating facts of the town, from the town people to the little passages she discovered on her little adventures.

However, she never tells me anything about her family, friends or what her adventures are for. Miki strictly keeps her life a mystery which surprisingly leaves me more comfortable than anything. Our talks only focuses on the things around us and details in life that we personally found fascinating.

This made our little meaningless talks start to hold a more special and unexpected turn as we learn things from each other, Miki sharing things about the town and me talking about the palace rules and activities. I never had anyone to talk about things that irritated me in my household as maids or butlers are nothing but spies that will snitch on me by reporting to my parents, getting me in trouble.

So having these few hours to interact with Miki by the water fountain and the palace garden has brought me nothing but more excitement everyday. I didn't know when it started but these days I began to look forward to meeting Miki and thought beforehand on what we could possibly talk about.
