The car swerved to the left and came to an abrupt stop.A brief silence passed over which was broken by a deep chuckle from Anthony which later on turned into a full blown laughter.
"Who are Amy and Max? " I asked once again. He eyes widened in surprise.
"You really don't know? " he asked. Jade looked frustrated and took a deep breath before grabbing her phone and everything else that she probably needed and unbuckled her seatbelt, typing on her phone. .
"One of you should drive Andrew home, I don't care who, just bring my car home with your ass in it Anthony and be ready for both Raymond's and Nicholas wrath, if I don't kick your ass before them" she said, her eyebrows furrowed and her eyes turning cold. She turned around and stomped away.
I sat there stunned for a while and since Anthony didn't move I'm sure he probably had a stunned expression similar to mine.
Our surprise remained till a taxi dropped by and she entered leaving.
The next thing was Anthony in the front seat a grim expression on his face as he input something in the GPS.
"She must be really pissed and I may really die today" he muttered I took a glance at him as he drove, the GPS telling him where to take turns. I didn't question how he knew the address to my home
"Okay look. We are seven kids. Only one girl. therefore we. All can sacrifice everything for our princess, Damon our little brother will bite your hand if he sees you with her" he said. I glanced at him and back at the road.
"Ok-ay" I drawled out having a bit of idea were the conversation was heading.
"We love her and your The first boy she's showing interest to in three years" he continued.
To say I was surprised was an understatement. Jade, the number one beauty I know had no boy interest in three years.
"Who hasn't be chased by us yet" he continued And I nodded grimly.
It made perfect sense now.
"And she kind of has a few things at hand at the time and a lot on her plate. She may not want to tell you now just wait for her. I can tell, she likes you" he said. My cheeks flushed red as a result of his words.
He took a glance at me.
"and you like her too obviously. "
"No I don't " I said and yet my subconscious nagged me saying 'yes you do' I blinked looking away from him.
"Yes you do " he said once again. This time I didn't deny it.
"Is it obvious? ".
"Of course it is. I'm pretty sure she actually ignores her feelings and unless you tell that little rascal my parents will marry her so she won't end up as a nun" a horrified expression was on my face as I glanced at him.
"Don't forget the fact that were smoking rich. She has a lot of stalkers and paparazzi following her after a two year disappearance from them" he continued.
He took a glance at me and chuckles. "My sister is smart yet dumb, she'll ignore anything she doesn't want to see and does it skillfully. She doesn't actually have a type of boy she likes but the fact that she talks inanimately about you I'll say she's pretty much into you" he said. Blush crept up to my cheeks.
"If you don't catch her fully now you'll never have her" he said and looked forward. I did the same just to notice the ad had stopped.
"We! ve been her for five minutes" he said as if reading my mind. I got out and entered my home thanking him for the ride as he drove off.
"Andrew" my mom screamed as I entered. I gave her a half hearted smile as she rushed me to the kitchen. I took a stool and sat my father beside me.
"Hey dad " I said instead of the usual nod of acknowledgment he gave me a smile.
"Hey son" he said. I blinked looking at him.
"How was school? " he asked. I stared my shock fading away to realization.
I skipped classes.
"It was great dad. " I said with a wary smile.
My mom dropped a plate of spaghetti in my front with a smile and passed my dad one before sitting."If you guys don't set the table the breakfast bar will be our new dinning." She said seriously but a small smile still dancing on her lips. My father gave me a smile and I cursed.
Suddenly the thought of cursing Jade felt calming, not that I'd do it.
"So Andrew" my dad began obviously trying to lure him to admit my crime. My mom smacked the back of his head.
"No talking while eating" she said. A rule she was obviously not going to follow. I scarfed down my food down in a rush glancing at my father who had an amazed expression on his face as he looked at me while my mother looked amused by the whole situation.
"So Andrew, there's this girl that miss Nozzle said your always with your girlfriend? " my mom asked. I choked on my pasta while my father filled a glass with water and passed it to me, rubbing my back.
I cursed out art teacher Mrs Nozzle for telling my mother such news that would never die down. My dad arched a brow.
"Honey, leave the poor boy. What was that rule about no talking while eating? " he asked. My mother slumped on her chair and toyed around with her food.
"Thanks dad" I whispered he frowned.
"Your not of the topic kid" he said, a grim taking over his face. I smiled at my father. This was the first time he wasn't ignoring me since last year.
"Though we can probably discuss it immediately after dinner if you'd like honey" he draw led out giving me a sarcastic smile. My jaw dropped while my mother nodded enthusiastically.
"Mmm. That'd be nice. I mean, it's almost a week to this term finals and yet our little Drew isn't cramming up things. " she said. I blinked once. Then twice. Then three times.
"Almost a week till finals? " I questioned. She nodded.
"You don't know. The school boards posting the times table on Friday. It was kinda a surprise to hear you...- her eyes widen as she stared at me-you forgot about finals. "She deadpanned.
My dad's fork cluttered to the ground, the food he had on it pouring with it as his jaws dropped.
"A crisis is about to occur "
