"Thank God you didn't say father. Nicholas and Thomas would have laughed " Raymond said, laughingas he leaned back on his chair, propping his foot on the desk. An attitude both siblings seemed to have.

"Who are they? " I asked, jealous that one of them may be closer than a friend to her. His laughter increased if possible.

"Take a chill pill dude, we are six kids, five boys meaning she has five brothers" he explained. I felt my cheek flushed at the confession.

"Oh" I said silently. He dropped his feet to the ground and waned on the desk, propping his shoulders up.

"I wasn't kidding when I said I'd go gay for you" he said with a wink. My cheeks flushed brighter than a tomato.

"To bad I'm okay being bi " he said grinning at me. I blinked for a moment before realizing what He implied and chocking on nothing, hitting my chest to calm down my rapid breathing.

He burst out laughing his face turning red.

"Gosh, take a look at your face" he said in between laughs, confirming my thoughts. Apparently, teasing ran in their blood.

"Where's Jade? " I asked. He stopped laughing, furrowing his brows.

"She didn't tell you? " he asked, all trace of the laughter gone and a serious expression in place.

I furrowed my brows."tell me what? " I asked.

He shrugged and leaned back on the chair once more.

"Its not my place to say, she'll tell you when she's ready" he said. I stared at him.

"Sorry to ask and be rude, but please, why are you here? " I asked as politely as I coukd. He snorted.

"My little sister's jealous as fuck, that's why" he said laughing once more.

"Sorry? "

"Boy you've gotten yourself in a whole lot of shit. She wants you and even if you travel to the ends of the earth, she'll have you" he said, amusement twirling around in his eyes. I felt my heart quicken a bit.

Could she like me to?

I rid my head of such thoughts. I didn't deserve to be happy and so many people around me already made sure I knew that fact.

"I don't understand? " I said but it came out more as a question.

"You may not understand but you will soon. I like you. Congratulations, you've passed my test. Good luck with the remaining five" he said. He slipped his hand in his pocket and gave me a piece of paper.

"Whatever number you got from that hot Secretary, she isn't gonna pick it. It'll most definitely be her P.A picking it up. Last I heard, she wasn't getting any sleep." He said as I collected it. I stared at the paper and pocketed it.

"Don't be annoyed if she doesn't answer at first, she hates disturbances " he said. I nodded.

"Thanks. "

"No problem, now shoo, and good luck with the rest".

The week passed by and still no sign of Jade, she had to be real cranky cause she wasn't picking my calls. Her brother on the other hand took upon the duty to annoy me every chance he got, calling me in the middle of classes to make fun or flirt with me.

I sat on my study chair, my phone on my hand as I scrolled through my contacts, automatically stopping on Jade's name.

I pressed the phone to my ear after pressing on the call icon. After a few rings, for the first time in seven days she picked.

"Nick, I swear if this is you once again I'll kill you and fucking castrate your balls" she said as soon as she picked. I kept quiet in surprise hearing her tone for the first time in what felt like years, although my heart panned to hear her call another name.

I was pretty much sure she could hear my heart beat as it pounded loudly, ringing in my ears.

"Hello?" She called, the agitation clear in her voice. I could imagine her cracking her knuckles, something she alwaus did when she was agitated or moody.

"I'm hangin-"

"Wait! " way to sound desperate Andrew.

I gnawed on my bottom lip as I heard her breath hitched.

"Drew? " she asked. I sighed.

"Hey Jade" I greeted trying to sound as normal as I coukd when my insides were freaking out by the thought of just hearing her voice.

"Andrew! "She exclaimed. I imagined her eyes lirting up in recognition and her running her hand through her long blonde locks before she begins to chatter like the whole world relied on it.

"Just thought I'd call you know. You haven't been in school for long" I said, trying to play it cool. She chuckled.

"I miss you to weirdo" she said, her soft laughter doing weird things to me. A smile plastered onto my face but it turned into a small frown.

"Whose Nick? " I asked. She let out a chuckle.

"Jealous? " she asked. I coukd imagine her arching a brow as she stared at me, a 'i know it all expression on her face.

"Why would I be? " I said stubbornly. She probably knew I was lying though but she let it pass with a soft hearty laugh.

"I hate it when people lie" she said. Her tone serious yet it had this soft edge to it.

"A little" I said, telling her the truth, mixed emotions running through my veins.

"His my elder brother, Nicholas. Sony worry,  I do not have any one like you or a spare amusement for me. Your meant to serve me till death.
