OPERATION: Fixing the Gay's Broken Heart

Prologue: The Beginning

GIOVANNI CHANCE'S POV:

"I hate him! I hate all the stupid guys in the entire world! They are all bullshits! They're nothing but a piece of shits!" Athena burst out her anger while crying and ranting. I swallowed the lump of my throat when I see her crying like this.

I want to console her but I don't know what to do. I don't know how to make her stop crying. I don't know how to make her happy. I don't know anything!

I just ended up watching her being distressed. Her unfortunate life for having a jerk father who left them just for his mistress. My eyes started to tear up when I heard her screams and cried out loud.

I'm here in their house, exactly in her room. When I heard what happened, I immediately run to their house to see if Athena's okay. But when I came here, I saw her mother, laying on the floor while kneeling, crying, and begging her husband not to leave them.

My eyes saw what happened earlier. Even Athena tried to stop her father from leaving them but the jerk is unstoppable. He wants to leave his family just for his mistress.

'What a very loving father he is.'

I don't know when their family started to fall down. I didn't know why and how did their family broke just like this. All I knew before is Athena almost had a perfect family. But her father ruined it all.

Athena still tried to stop her father from leaving and begged for him not to leave. She even kneeled and faced the ground just to make her father pity her but no. He still continues to leave their family just like that.

Kuya Eros is the one who's taking care of tita Courtney. I never saw him cry when their father left. He's just hugging tita Courtney and Athena but because he's still young just like us, he couldn't stop Athena when she run away just to chase her father.

But still, Athena didn't succeed. She comes home crying. While I'm still watching her misfortunes in life. I don't know what will I do or what can I do in that situation. I was stunned. I'm too shocked that my little mind still can't comprehend this kind of situation. All I know is I'm hurt while seeing Athena cry.

"Athy, please stop crying na." I said and kneeled to embrace my devastated friend and tried to console her using a hug but instead of stopping herself from crying, she cried all out.

"I hate him. I hate him! Napakasama n'ya! Sinaktan n'ya ang mama! Iniwan n'ya ang mama!" umiiyak na saad ni Athena. Mas lalo ko na lang s'yang niyakap at pinigil ang sariling luha na bumuhos. Ayoko s'yang sabayan dahil alam kong mas kailangan n'ya ng taong matatag para aluhin s'ya.

'Ngunit dahil bata pa 'ko, wala akong ibang nagawa kundi ang daluhan sa pag-iyak ang bestfriend ko.'

Weeks had passed and I never saw the Fryxell family leave their house. Palagi lang silang nasa loob ng bahay at maski ako ay hindi na maaaring pumasok dahil walang nagbubukas ng pinto.

Ngunit kahit na ganon ay palagi akong naghihintay sa tapat ng bahay nila upang hintayin si Athena na lumabas para ayain s'yang maglaro. Sa lahat ng bata rito sa village ay s'ya lang ang pinakagusto kong kalaro dahil bukod sa mabait s'ya ay tinutulungan n'ya rin akong magligpit ng mga toys ko pagkatapos naming maglaro.

Gaya nang nakasanayan ko na simula ng masira ang pamilya ni Athena ay muli akong lumabas ng bahay para maghintay sa gate ng bahay nila. Nami-miss ko na si Athena. Gustong-gusto ko na s'yang makita at makalaro.

Tila dininig naman ng langit ang hiling ko nang biglang lumabas si Athena mula sa bahay nila. May hawak-hawak s'yang garbage bag at itinapon iyon. Muli na sana s'yang papasok ng tawagin ko s'ya.
