Hello :)
So, any translations from Spanish to English will be written at the end of the phrase or so like this [translations]. As said, I'll also be using they/them pronouns, so use what's more comfortable with you. Please enjoy!Since you remember so little, Y/N, I think it's best if I tell you all this as if it was just a casual story you'd read, as if you were a character in it, if you'd like to. That way you'll remember better.
So, let's try this!
Y/N's story started, as said, the day of Antonio Madrigal's ceremony first:
"Y/N! Will you please come down?" Isabela Bravo's voice rang through the house "We need to go help with the decorations for the Madrigals!"
"I'm coming, mom!" they answered, looking at their reflection one last time, as they fixed their hair (if you don't have hair, imagine your dream hair :)), knowing well how keen both their mother and grandmother Rosa were on appearances.
Their mother nodded upon seeing them. "Good. But a little bit of colour wouldn't do bad."
Y/N nodded, fixing her dress(/skirt/pants if you prefer). Unlike their mother, Y/N preferred rather 'boring' clothes before a rainbow burst of colours.
"Mamá, we're going to the market!" Isabela called across the house, as she walked out the door, followed by her daughter/son(etc.).
"Be quick!" Rosa Bravo shouted in reply.
The woman was getting older, and she was already experiencing hearing loss.
"Come on" Isabela muttered, closing the door. She and Y/N walked silently around the streets, both receiving quite a few looks from the people greeting them. It was no secret they both were quite liked.
It was a beautiful day in the encanto; the sun shining (it seemed Pepa was in a good mood), birds chirping, and the whole place full of people.
"Wait here for a second, Y/N, please" Their mother muttered to them, as they reached the centre of the city.
Y/N nodded, and sat down, knowing better than contradict their mother. It was very loud as always, and the space was completely crowded.
"Buenos días, Y/N! Could you bring me a ladder?" A man asked immediately upon seeing them. [Good morning, Y/N!]
"Señor Perez, may I ask what happened?" Y/N grinned slightly, upon seeing him. He was sitting on a balcony and clearly didn't have a way down.
"It's a long story..." he answered "The window shut close, and nobody seems to have a ladder in condition, so here I am"
"Bueno..." Y/N said, waving her hand, as a ladder formed itself, practically appearing in thin air, they choosing to adorn it with carvings before handing it to the man. [Well then.../okay...]
"Thanks"
"No hay problema" Y/N smiled, looking away, as they decided to take a walk around the plaza, since their mother was taking so long. [No problem]
In case you haven't noticed, Y/N had the gift of creating. Being able to create anything they'd picture in their head (which had more than once led to awkward situations of unwanted stuff randomly appearing), and moving objects with her mind, she held quite a powerful gift.
Just then they were sprinkled with water. It was raining. Again. What had happened with that sunny weather? Probably Pepa's doing...
"When she's unhappy, well the temperature gets weird" somebody sang vividly.
