Jungkook:

Jungkook settled down at the staff table, plate steaming hot with spaghetti and meatballs and sausages.  Some of the lifeguards and teachers had families and left to go have dinner and spend the night at home, but many were like him: university students without a home to go to all summer, and the canteen kitchen and cabins at the camp was home for the summer.

He was vaguely aware of Choi and other lifeguards sitting around him eating also, but his eyes searched for, and found, one small adorable Park Jimin, dressed now in a loose tee and exercise shorts, and accompanied as always by Taehyung, as he walked through the canteen and got on line for food.

His eyes moved over Jimin, examining every movement.   He was limping slightly, Jungkook realized with a mix of feelings, heart thumping as it was overwhelmed at once by guilt and pride and lust.

His face and neck were red and sunburned, cheeks pink, lips pink, eyes bloodshot.  Jungkook found himself licking his lips as he stared at the boy and remembered the feel of his body in Jungkook's hands earlier...

"Lusting after teenagers, Jungkook-ssi?" Said Hogi, one of the other lifeguards, a burly 20-year old, who snorted as he followed Jungkook's open-mouthed gaze to where Jimin and his cabin-mates stood at the buffet line, giggling together.

Jungkook swallowed and cast eyes guiltily to the floor with teasing hollers from his surrounding mates.

"You are usually above checking out the senior campers, Jungkook-ssi, did one of them get to you?"  Choi snorted, and Jungkook couldn't help himself.  His eyes were drawn back to Jimin and his friends, even as the other lifeguards laughed at him.

"No," he muttered, but he watched Park Jimin.  Taehyung smiled easy at Jimin, and it made his heart pound.  He watched as Taehyung made Jimin break into peels of adorable laughter, cling to his arm and chest...

At last the boys were getting their food and sitting down, at a table across the canteen from the staff table.  Jimin must have found Jungkook because he sat down nearly opposite him, eyes meeting his with a flutter and a blush.

Jungkook felt himself blushing, too, but then Jimin was being sat down on one side by Taehyung and the other by Montero, who was far too flamboyant and built for Jungkook's comfort.  He leaned near to Jimin, making the small one laugh and blush.  Jungkook's eyes burned.  He's Jimin's type, Jungkook found himself thinking...

"Who the fuck are you watching over there?" Hogi asked again, shoving a brooding Jungkook with a laugh.

"No one," said Jungkook but he couldn't tear his eyes away now, he realized that beneath the table, Montero's hand had settled on Jimin's thigh, and he was smirking at him, and Jimin was smirking back.

Jimin:

He wasn't surprised to feel Montero plop down beside him and immediately snake an arm around his waist, fingers teasing at his waist line.   He smirked and wiggled away from the boy's snaking fingers.

"Stop it, Montero," Jimin squealed, and the strong arms of the larger teenager fell off him with a reluctant whine.   They started to eat dinner, and Jimin was chatting with Taehyung, when he felt Montero's hand on his knee, and sliding up his bare thigh.

Jimin wasn't sure what to do.  His heart pounded with a combination of arousal and nervousness,   Him and Montero had flirted like this all summer, how would he explain now?

"Stop," Jimin hissed, and wiggled away.  He realized when he looked up that he met Jungkook's eyes across the canteen, and that he breathed deep with jealousy and tongued the inside of his cheek as his eyes darted to Jimin's bare thighs under the table, where Montero's hands had been moments before.

"What's the matter with you, all of a sudden, hmm?"  Montero hissed in his ear.  "All of a sudden you decide we can't play around anymore?  Why?"  He slid a hand around Jimin's waist and under his waist band, Jimin felt mortified and frozen with fear...

"Montero Hill?"  Jimin looked up to see Jungkook standing there, towering there.  "We can see what you are doing from the staff table.  You looking to get sent home or can you keep your hands to yourself?"

Montero gulped, "I will...I can...keep my hands to myself," he muttered.

"Good," said Jungkook.  "Now move, go sit somewhere else."

Jungkook met Jimin's eyes briefly, narrowed with anger, before he stalked back to the staff table.

Jimin tried to meet Jungkook's eyes again from across the canteen again, but the lifeguard kept his eyes down, or on his friends, and didn't look at Jimin again.
