Jungkook:

Jungkook felt so confused, his insides were in a jumble. He stared through the window at Jimin, trying to process all of this...

Suddenly he realized PD Bang was about to lead the whole camp out, and Jungkook met him at the door as he came out.

"Ah, Bang-ssi, is that the schedule? Can I...?" Mr. Bang handed him one of the papers he was holding and Jungkook immediately turned on his heel to walk away before Jimin saw him, disappearing into the woods before the rest of the camp had even left the canteen.

Jimin:

When dinner was over, the entire camp together walked to the outdoor amphitheater on one side of the camp. Jimin's eyes searched for Jungkook when they walked outside, but he didn't see him. Everyone filed into the seats together, Jimin couldn't get away.

Mr. Bang jumped energetically up onto the stage, waddling slightly with roundness, and grabbed a mike at the front of the stage.

"Hello folks and welcome to our "dress" rehearsal!" He did air quotes around "dress", giggling, and then added: "It's okay if it's not full dress and makeup tonight!"

Jimin clutched his hat and suit jacket, and his throat grew tight at the thought of the matching full suits in Jungkook's room. He twisted the promise ring on his finger anxiously and strained again to look around for Jungkook, but didn't see him.

"Please check out the program for our final show!" Mr. Bang said with excitement, and handed papers to the counselors, who started to distribute them to each row of the campers. Taehyung handed Jimin the stack. He took one and handed the rest to Montero, who took one and handed them on, down the row.

The campers all studied the program. Jimin's eyes scanned, found his name. He and Jungkook were the 9th act.

"Does everyone see their programs?" Mr. Bang asked. "So, what we will do for the performance tomorrow, is we will reserve all the seats in the back for campers and we will let your parents sit in the front. The green room backstage will be available for final dress and makeup before your performance about two acts before you are on." He pointed to the program.

"So let's start by having all the campers in the first two—well let's just say the first three—acts come backstage now, and you'll stay here and check your hair and makeup until you go on, and then after your performance, you come backstage and then file out the back way and walk around to sit back down and watch the rest of the acts." Jimin's mind was on Jungkook, he was only half listening as Mr. Bang droned on with instructions.

"Everyone ELSE, you start out, out here, sitting in your performance groups, and then...say you are the fourth act? When they are clapping at the end of the first act, that's when the fourth group should walk around and start waiting in the green room. After the second act ends, the 5th act should walk back to the green room. Everyone got it?"

Some of the younger campers looked confused but everyone else nodded.

Jimin once again looked nervously around for Jungkook, but didn't see him anywhere.

Jungkook:

Jungkook listened from the woods to Mr. Bang's words, echoing from the amphitheater up the mountainside, and he looked at his paper. He and Jimin were near the middle of the show, he counted eight groups before them.

I'm just going to go to the green room now, thought Jungkook, but then he realized that left Jimin to speak to him for nearly three acts.
