Temptation part 2

The astonishment on Irene Adlers face at the sight of someone she wanted to be with, in love with another man, killed her inside. She knew she had to do something about this, she had to figure out a battle plan.

Irene PoV :

Step 1: get John out of the way (whatever it takes)

Step 2: woo Sherlock make him fall for you again with your womanly charm

Step 3: eventually marry him and have babies

Now that Sherlock had revealed that he was dating John they were all over each other in front of her(after all she did barge in on them on there anniversary) which simply made Irene even angrier and more determined to reclaim Sherlock. Irene had figured out how she would get John away from Sherlock she prepared herself and walked through to tell them exactly why she was back in England and more importantly back at 221 b. Sherlock and John were sitting in there chairs holding hands facing Irene who was standing there as if she was one of the pairs clients. Her face could of curdled milk it was so disgusted "Well as you know I'm believed to be dead to most people including your brother but thanks to you I'm still breathing" she paused as if to try and remember what to say like she was making it up on the spot eventually she went on to tell them that she'd got herself in a bit of a 'situation' with the don of the American Mafia in New York and so the only option she had was to flee " I figured you saved me once why not do it again" for the first time in almost the entire day she actually looked at John instead of Sherlock "while we're on on that subject John dear would you mind taking this to lastradde I'm awfully tired and" she stopped and pointed at the towel wrapped around her body "I'm not exactly dressed for the weather"

John gave a large sigh and stood up, he took the envelope out of her hand and left for the police station

Irene PoV

Alright well that's step 1 taken care of. Now for the easy part.

It was just Sherlock and her left in the apartment, the awkward silence was killing her she had to say something or it would be to late. She sat down on johns chair however the second she did so she noticed a strange twinge to Sherlocks reaction, but he seemed to shrug it if by walking away, he walked into the kitchen "do you want tea,......... Oh and by the way that's johns chair you really should move of it." With this she decided it was now or never she stood up and walked behind Sherlock until she was within smelling distance of him. she rubbed his shoulders sensually and lent over to whisper in his ear "you really shouldn't settle for second best when you can have the best" Sherlock turned and laughed to himself. Irene was furious with him how dare he insult her by laughing at her "what's so funny" she asked just as curious as she was angry. Sherlock stopped laughing and his smile turned to a stern glare "the fact that a slutty whore such as yourself can call a god like John second best to you is hilarious, seriously Irene are you okay, what have you been taking"

On that note John ran through the door with lestradde, Sally, Anderson and Mycroft behind him and a whole army of police officers outside. In a second Irene was in the bathroom, and another second after she was fully clothed bag in hand looking for a way out of the 221 b. For once in his life Sherlock was confused, and I mean beyond compare, John rushed over to Sherlock and pulled him tightly towards his body, he gripped the back of his coat Sherlock relaxed into johns arms. Mycroft cleared his throat behind them as to get there attention(Mycroft seemed to still be getting used to his little brothers new found homosexuality)In the chaos they didn't realise that Adler had got away. Mycroft then spent the next 15 minutes explaining what was going on. As it turns out the 'situation' that Irene had got herself in with the American Mafia was that she got a job as a hit-women and while on one of her contracts she decided to stop bye at Sherlocks.

That night you could definitely say that Sherlock gave John a very special anniversary present that benefitted both men.
