ALEX POV

"Announcement, everyone. I need your attention." The host said making everyone stop talking.

"This is the last event which we planned to reveal the king and the heir. Take note that the heir might visit one of you, but we would not reveal to you any information not even age or gender. That would be all." He said and everyone murmured- Who is going to be the heir? Is he/she going to be with me?

" Hey, Alex wait up," Stacey said as I was walking out of the hall with her hands clung to Miller's hand.

"Do you know how I had to bribe the host, telling him that I and Smith are in a relationship?. It was easy, but you don't have..." She said flinging her hair until she was cut shut from the entrance of a young man, who seemed my age, which is worse looks familiar. I looked over to Miller who seemed uncomfortable, I chuckled a little.

"Please, I am looking for Miss Alex West, Do you have any idea where she is? " The young man from earlier.

"Why are you looking..." Miller said but he received a slight hit from Stacey.

"I am Alex West, may I ask what you are looking for?"

"Sorry for not introducing myself but I am Daniel. I am your supposed partner. The 26th in the country."

" I am not sure we were told about this, how come the host never detailed us on this?" Miller observed

"You know how things are," Daniel said scratching his head nervously.

"If that is it, then let's get going to today's activity," I said

"I am not sure..." Miller said and again was hit by Stacey.

"None of your business!"

"She is your best friend, she might...."

"She was my best friend not anymore. I don't deal with people who try to steal my possessions." Stacey said. Ok, Stacey that hurts a little, I missed our friendship, there is no one to talk to sometimes. Miller being called a possession, ha, serves him right. We finally finished the day's activity and I made my way back to my room. On the way, I noticed someone following me back to my room.

"Are you lost or do you need help going back to your room?"

"Yes actually."

"Ok then, ask the boys around"

"I am not comfortable around other people." Bruh, are you a baby?. You are literarily an adult but you are not comfortable with people.

"I am sorry I can't help you. I don't know the way to your room." Now, this guy looks even more suspicious just like Miller observed. I thought rich, young people had common sense but if he is facing such a problem then he could have hired someone as a personal assistant. I kept walking to my room but he kept following me, eventually, I took another turn outside but he didn't stop.

"Can you please stop following me?" I said but this time no answer. Suddenly two other guys appeared, now I knew who they were.

"Guess our darling didn't wear a padded bra but an actual bra." The biggest one said. He was one of my bullies, who mocked me for wearing a padded bra.

"Now I know you."

"Oh, still naïve as always. How could you not recognize me?."

"No, you can't let him manipulate you again Daniel." He was the one who was manipulated by Max just because he had money. He forced him to threaten me.

"shut up," He said and slapped me. After a long struggle, they eventually tied me to a chair. Don't blame this on me, I can't trust anyone here that is why I did not go to meet anyone, not even Stacey or Miller.
