"Stacey, what are you doing here?"

"How can you ask your long-gone best friend that kind of question?."

"I mean this is not a place where you can come to meet me. Just go back to where you are coming from, when the event is over, you can come to meet me."

"I am the 3rd richest billionaire in the country, I am the one you have been waiting for since. Aren't you glad to see me?" She said and hopped on my bed.

"Are you serious? I am not glad to see you at all. We broke off anything called friendship since you chose Miller over me." I said with a scowl on my face.

"He and I broke up a long time ago because of you. He chose you over me."

"Oh no, we are at the stage of one who is choosing one over the other now?. Just admit that you are wrong."

"You know everything has been wrong from the beginning. We became friends but then you just him over me, five years ago he chose you over me. Don't you ever consider that I am always left with nothing?" She screamed and walked up to me. Now that I look at it, she is right. What exactly is Miller planning?.

"I would not let you win this time, Smith is mine." She said and barged the door on her way out. I wonder how I am going to face tomorrow.

SMITH'S POV

Since Alex left, she left me with a lingering question. Who is Max?. Is that who is making her life miserable?. Is this the reason why she is still like this?. I went to ask her parents but the fact that her parents have no clue about this person is just as worse as her situation has no cause for a solution. I really don't know what she is doing to drive me close to her but she is clearly in danger or she is probably broken and is at the climax of getting broken more. I can't even believe her so-called best friend left her hanging while she is at her peak of breaking. She even has to move out of her house to deal with her broken self, with no one to help her while she breaks.

AFTER HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION

"Mum, Dad, I would need to discuss with you."

"Make it quick, I have got a business conference, I need to sign you up to," Dad said looking at the watch in his hand.

"I can study business and political science but I am going to be an actor."

" What do you mean by that?" Mum yelled

"I mean what I mean, I want to become an actor."

"No true son of mine would ever say that," Dad said taking his suitcase leaving

"I mean it, I want to be an actor."

"Either, any other profession but not that one."

"I think I am old enough to decide that by myself. Thanks for your care and support, bye." That was it, I left the house for good. I had my allowances and savings to maintain me. Although I had a little trouble with my surname as it is my Dad's. He somewhat manipulated them not to allow me in, but with my charms and manners, I was able to do it. I have to make it on my own this time. I don't know where Alex went to but I have to do my best to get to where she is.

ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT

"Finally, I have found you." She looked so beautiful in her long red dress and her styled brown hair fit her perfectly. The dress highlighted her shape as it hugged her warm chocolate skin. There were so many beautiful people there, rich and modest, but the satisfaction I feel because I have met her is just satisfying. She has changed, her ways of doing things, and her beauty are heartwarming. Although she is worse in character and has shut down any ounce of trusting anyone, I guess situations got worse for her. Even while she talked with Rose Carter, she wishes and hopes to be helped by her lover. All I want is to fix her but do I have to fall in love with her.
