The Dark Board

Hongjoong

So this morning my day started like any other normal day for me but something about today just felt a bit, off I don't know how to explain it but maybe its just my imagination. I made my way down the stairs to see all the boxes laying everywhere in a cluttered mess. I get it that we are all moving today into a new dorm and all but that doesn't mean that we should leave this dorm in a mess for the new people. While I was making my way over to the kitchen I wasn't looking in front of me and tripped over two boxes of plushies. And I knew exactly who it belonged to. "San, you can't leave your boxes of plushies in the middle of the kitchen doorway." I say standing up and dusting my clothes off. While I made my way in the kitchen I heard the sound of someone running down the stairs. "Oh, that's where they were thanks for finding them hyung." He said picking the boxes up and walking off. "He is just a being on his own." I walked over to the cabinet to get some cornflakes since I'm way to lazy to make me a real breakfast. While I was sitting and eating everybody started storming in the kitchen grabbing random things to start making them breakfast before we all head off to college. "Remember guys we all have to come straight home today because the new people are moving in tonight so we have to be out by this afternoon." Seonghwa says as he makes his way over to the sink to wash his dirty plate. While we all watch him we nod and make our way out the kitchen. We got up washed our plates and got our things to head to school. As we all made our way out the door, I was the last one. I grabbed my bag at the doorway and turned around to give our dorm that we had lived in from high school one last goodbye before closing the door.

*time skip to when they reached school*

"Don't forget, straight home this afternoon otherwise if your not there we'll leave everything that belongs to you there and the new owners can throw it away." I tell them to make sure that they're not late. "Then where should we meet after school so we can walk together to make sure where not late so you guys can sacrifice our belongings." Yeosang says eyeing me while I just smile innocently back at him. "How about by the bench's, outside on the field close to the gate?" Mingi questions looking around for acceptance of his suggestion. "Perfect! Then that's where we'll meet, so I'm kinda late for my first lecture so, see ya!" Wooyoung says while scurrying away quickly to his first class. We all look at his rushing figure as it fades in the distance. I turn to look back at everybody and try to catch there attention. "Guys." I say snapping my fingers in front of them. "Yeah, what's wrong Hongjoong hyung?" Jongho says tilting his head to the side. "I think we should actually head to class, the faster we get done with things the faster the day ends." I say walking ahead of the others to who knows where cause my lectures only start at 12:00 till 14:00 and its only 11:00 now. "Yeah hyung we should really get going or else we might be late, see ya later." Yunho says dragging poor San with him to their class. "My lecture starts in about like ten minutes but I'm hungry so, to the cafeteria!" Mingi says pointing towards the direction of the cafeteria, walking straight through us like we're not even standing there. "Rude much." Jongho says looking at Mingi's disappearing form. "Well his gone. Come on let me walk you three to class." I gesture them to walk with me. "So hyung when does your classes start?" Jongho asks. "At 12:00 till 14:00 why?" I ask facing him while we take a slow stroll up the stairs. "Just asking." He says shrugging his shoulders. "Well whatever, where here so I'll head off see ya later." I say waving at them and making may way back down the stairs and towards the bench's right opposite my class. While I wait for my class to start I can't help but enjoy the beautiful scenery of the sun resting on top of the clouds. I look down at my phone to see the time "11:50. I guess I should head to class." I say standing up but I notice something moving out of corner of my. When I turned my head to see what it was, I notice a shadowy figure disappearing behind a corner at the end of the hallway. I look around to see its only me standing here in the hallway, so I decide to check it out.

When I get at the end of the hallway I slowly make my way around the corner. I peer my head first and I take a look around to see no one. I look around and take a few steps forward, when I step on something. I look down to see a neatly folded piece of paper. I bend down to pick it up. My curiosity got the best of me so I opened it up. And the weirdest thing was written in the middle of the page, it read:

Get ready Hongjoong

It kinda creeped me out, so I took one last look around the hallway and turned quickly on my heels and made my way back to my class.
