?'s POV

I watch the scene unfolding, chuckling at how normal the servants are and at the same time doing their requested duties.

"How appealing." I say aloud to no one, putting a fork full of chocolate fondue cake into my mouth, enjoying the creamy bite.

"Now they have to change. What a drag. At least for me anyway. Maybe this'll brighten that demon up a bit, show him someone as human as her can work equally with him. Make him work on his toes. And now someone else can put the three in line. Oh how Fate can work out so well for everyone.

I turn around, getting up from my chair, leaving the empty plate on my desk, grabbing my cane as I walk out, the air fixing my long-coat for me. As I walk down the familiar hallways, the commotion from outside now not reaching my ears, a eerily calm suffocating silence fills the space like a too tight scarf in the middle of the summer.

Nearing the staircase, it is evident everyone retreated inside, the slosh of drenched feet squishing on the tile reverberates off the walls, reaching my cringing ears. My presence is sensed before I even reach the bottom of the staircase. No eyes are met to mine, no loud noises on my part, yet I'm still found out.

"Master Ciel."

And it isn't Sebastian.

Sebastian's POV

(F/n) sees Ciel before he even is in view, like she sensed him, like a demon would a tasty soul.

Ever since I came into contact with this (e/c) haired female, there was something I saw in her, a grey area, not quite easy to place my finger upon what it is, even as a demon such as I.

I am determined to find out just exactly who she is. She did work for the Trancy Manor after all. And with the Trancy household, comes Claude.

Thinking about that makes my eyes narrow with wonder, curious to see if she knows about us or not.

She will soon enough Master will request that, I am very sure of that.

I lock eyes with Master, as he raises his eyebrows, his eyes flickering to (f/n), his single blue eyes glittering with interest, his thought most likely mirroring my own. Like Master like servant as they say.

I part my lips, taking in a swift breath of Phantomhive manor air. "Now, look at the four of us. Our Master is right there and we all look so filthy. Our apologies, Young Master, I shall get them cleaned up in no time."

Ciel smirks as he opens his boy mouth. "Well apologies won't take the dirt and water from your clothing and off the floor, now will it? Get cleaned up immediately and get this mess out of my sight and I want to see you three," His free hand stretches out to Mei-Rin, Bard and Finny, " in my study once you're ridded of this filth that's a sore to my eyes. Am I clear to everyone?" The sternness in his voice clearly makes (f/n) uneasy, her form shaking ever so slightly, although that could be from the freezing water.

Ask her, she'll probably need help changing. You did help her to dress, that'll be the chance to ask her."

I shake my head, clearing those thoughts from my head. Never has a human, and in such short time like this, made me waver like this.

There's no way she human.

My thoughts, distracting me from everyone nodding and bowing to the Master, earns me a cold stare from him, the power of our contract strong between us now, the mark on my gloved hand practically burning with his cold gaze. I quickly bow low, taking the extra effort to put a hand to my stomach and on my knee. "Yes, my Lord."

The Master nods for me to stand as he turns, heading back up the stairs. "Good, now get to it. I want Curry for dinner as well. Cooked the way Agni makes it. Unless that's too troubling?"

"It should be done, and done on time Young Master."

No reply is made towards me as he takes his leave. I turn to the others. "Now you heard the Young Master, get to it!"

The clumsy trio stutters a moment, but recover quickly and give me a salute. "Yes, Mister Sebastian!" Their usual unison phrase isn't annoying this time. Bemusing, actually, birthing a smirk on my lips.

(F/n) just raises her eyebrows, confused and taken aback by the whole ordeal. She rolls her (e/c) irises, crossing her arms over her chest, pushing it up and bunching the (e/c) fabric around her curves as the three scamper off, a trail of mush in their wake.

"Now, shall we get this cleaned up?" I turn to her, amused at her reaction to the trio.

"I can handle it. You should start this dinner request of Ciel's, it could take you a while and you want him to eat on time, correct?" She smirks, walking over to a closet and assumingly opening it, grabbing various cleaning supplies, her soaked outfit clinging to her as it empties itself on the ground, like everyone else's had.

"How remarkable. You talk back to the one who saved you and got you this job, or did we already forget that?"

"I can talk back to you if I so please, I don't work for you, I work with you, there's a mighty big difference, Mister Sebastian." She says the ending with a sneer, already gripping the mop handle tight as she cleans rhythmically, her body moving with the mop with the effort.

I walk towards her, stopping her actions with the placement of a single gloved hand, my ruby eyes meeting her (e/c) ones, already filled with courage and defiance. My words come out low, a warning and a curse. "Fine, but that won't pan out well for you in the end."
