Sebastian's POV

I catch (f/n), her breathing slowing down, her eyes fluttering beneath their lids. I stand, with her in my arms, and make my way to the living area, setting her upon the velvet purple couch.

She barely stirs as I set her down, and I make sure she still is breathing, as I check her pulse and under her eyelids for reaction.

My gloved hand almost recoils with what my eyes connect with: Her eyes, fluttering underneath their lids with unconsciousness, glow a certain shade of ink, her irises narrowing as they blacken, reacting to the outside light.

An audible gasp almost escapes my lips, but my I feel my power overtake me before it can, my eyes narrowing and my demon power taking over, the contract beneath my glove glowing, a growl escaping my vocal box, as if an enemy of the Master was nearby.

Something doesn't seem right here. I would've caught on the scent of a demon if she was one when I saved her last night. Unless Claude...

Claude.

While I was being distracted by what was happening to me, I didn't quite pick up on the odd cackling coming from behind me. Turning back to where (f/n) lays, I see her form now sitting up, her eyes fully open and in full demon form, the rims glowing a slight gold.

Taken aback by her appearance, I take a step back, but feel my demon side flaring, my power not subsiding.

"Thought you could steal her from me, did you now Sebastian?" The voice that comes from her mouth doesn't match the one I've already burned into my memory. This voice...it's deeper, of  a male caliber, of someone I wouldn't hesitate to kill.

"Claude." The words are more a growl than actual speech. The step I had taken back I take forward, my vision clouding with red.

"Now now, don't get testy with me. Here you come and try to steal something that's mine. Did you hear that Michaelis? Mine. If you haven't already noticed, I marked her as mine. Her soul is mine. And what a pure one as well. The taste of a virgin's soul is the best taste of all."

(f/n), no, Claude, uses (f/n)'s body to lick his lips, her hand moving to her mouth, her body now in a more provocative position.

"Marked her? You marked her? You would steep so low as to do that? How pathetic you are Faustus, and now you're hiding behind her skin."

With a growl, I take a step forward, my hand jutting out to her throat, fingers clenching around her skin, her eyes widening in surprise.

"Let her body go Claude. This isn't a game you should be messing around with, especially with someone as weak as her."

Her throat opens, and lets out a raspy laugh. "Weak? Have your senses really dulled that much Sebastian? How disgusting that I thought we were equals, and now you're proving me to be the stronger of the tow of us. How laughable."

My grip on her throat tightens, and she lets out a shaky cough, her eyes dulling a bit, eyes darting back and forth frantically.

Confusion clouds my over sensitive senses, as a voice squeaks.

"Mister...Sebastian? I can't...breathe..." Her lungs contract for air, and I hear the struggle of her organs expanding, searching for the oxygen they need to operate.

My hand instinctively drops her, as she slides to the ground, her lugs taking in large gulps of air. I try to calm myself, knowing she can't see me in this form, as I turn and begin to walk away, my heart beating fast, chest tightening.

That's odd...that's never happened before when I've turned.

Never has that happened. Not even when I've fought Claude or helped Ciel.

What has gotten into me in the last 24 hours?

I shake my head as if to clear it, my mind shaking, thoughts cloudy.

I'm almost out the door when I feel a force knock me forward, hard against the wall nearest the door.

I feel hot breath on my neck, and soft firm hands gripping the base of my neck.

"You really thought I would just leave her like that? You must truly trust her Sebastian, or you wouldn't be acting this strange. Or maye it's a soul crush? What is it the humans say? Love at first sight? Whatever you issue is, you can't have her. She's all mine, mind, soul and body. If you try to do anything to her, so help me God I will end you Michaelis. She is mine. Got it?"

I turn my head slightly, making eye contact with (f/n)'s eyes, clouded over again with Claude's power, and I girt my teeth, turning around and exerting as little as energy as possible, but enough to get her off of me.

She stumbles back, teeth gritting as well. That's when I notice the odd glowing coming from the front of her maid's outfit, around her heart area.

"I wouldn't try to hurt me if I was you, for whenever I am in this body, the only one you'll be hurting is her. And you can't live with that, now can you?"

I growl, taking a step forward. "Let her go."

The response earns a smirk. "Why should I? Toying with you seems like such a blast, and you can do nothing about it. Not that's satisfaction."

I stand still, truly at a lost for words or any action of command.

"Speechless? What a good look on you. But nonetheless, I actually have work to get done, so I guess I'll be leaving her. I will be back though, and when I am, I'm taking her back with me."

It's like a blast of wind shot through the room, the temperature dropping significantly, papers beginning to fly, and (f/n)'s body flies across the room, hitting the farest wall, and knocking her unconscious back on the couch.

I leap across the room, finally feeling my heart rate decreasing to a normal rate, my powers subsiding, as I check her. Fluttering her eyelids, her eyes appear to be back to their normal shade of (e/c), no trace of Claude's influence in them anymore.
