(Y/N)'s POV

After a half hour of conversing with Ciel in German, I learned he knew some of the basics, if not almost all of them, making my job easier. He seemed to struggle a bit with forming the sentences, but he managed to get past the half hour with only needing the help of me three times.

"Gute Arbeit, hast du heute gut. Ich bin mit, wie Sie voran sind glücklich. Aber das wird alles für heute sein." I bow to Ciel, who grins and nods back to me, gesturing for me to get from my kneeling position. (Good job, you did well today. I'm happy with how you are progressing. But that will be all for today. )

"Thank you for being my teacher today, (y/n). I think I'm going to have to make you my permanent teacher. You seem to have a lot more patience with me than Sebastian does, and as my parents would say, patience is a virtue, a redeeming quality to have. You may yet will be a permanent resident here."

"More patience than me? But Young Master, how could that be?" I turn, and am greeted by a mock pouting face of the head butler, his ruby red eyes glistening with fake tears, his gloved hands cupping his chin, lips turning down into a frown.

"It could be from the fact that you have no patience. Now what is it?"

Sebastian chuckles, dropping his act, his gloved hands falling back to his side. "Dinner is ready. I came to see you and Miss (l/n) out, sees as it is her first day."

Ciel nods, standing from his chair. "Very well. Let's go then. I am quite parched. Also, I think I am going to be making (y/n) my primary German teacher, she is very well excelled in it. "

Sebastian humphs, but his facial features show no change in emotion. "Well she did learn it as a child, Young Master."

I cough, making my presence known. "Hello, I'm here ya know. Please don't act like I'm not. And I would be honored to be your teacher Master Ciel."

The two of them let out a chuckle, not entirely apologizing or saying words in response.

"Due to your dinner running a tad bit late and what happened earlier, I am going to be canceling your dancing lessons for today Master. I feel it would be in your best interest after such a stressful day." Sebastian bows to Ciel as we make our way to the dining hall, his words coming off as a bit...sarcastic?

Ciel just nods in return, entering the open room, the ceiling tall, the room vast with space, the table adorned with various dishes and decorations.

"Tonight's dinner is as requested: curry, made just as Adni would make it, also sided with your favorite of Bard's American meatballs and spaghetti, sided with garlic spread made with actual garlic. The drinks range from water to tea, with juice and wine in between."

My eyes widen at the butler's words, surprised at how much food was made for such a small child, uhm, Earl. Sebastian must sense my shock, for he turns to be and gives me a slight wink, leading me over to the table where he seats Master Ciel.

Ciel picks up a napkin, tucking it underneath the collar of his shirt, placing his hands on either side of his silver plate, a Indian styled silver set, to match the curry I presume.

"What would you like Master?" Sebastian grins at Ciel, his eyes glinting, juxtaposing his beaming smile.

"I would like (y/n) to serve me tonight Sebastian. Nothing personal to you, hope you don't take it to heart. Not that I truly care either way." Ciel smirks at his butler, an underlining thread between the two beginning to show, like a puppet and his puppeteer.

I step forward when I hear my name being called. I cough quietly, clearing my throat, coming   up next to Ciel, on the opposite side of his chair to Sebastian.

"What would you like this evening then, Young Master?" I bend down, giving the young Earl a genuine smile of mine, a smile I rarely use anymore.

Not since Claude anyway...

He turns to me, and gives me a bright smile, his eye closing and his smiling beaming, like a child. "I think for tonight, I'll have the curry with a glass of water, no ice." He pauses, like he wants to add something. He puts his head down, and let's out a cough."Please."

The word, though said quietly, is heard by the two servants standing there, and I give Sebastian a look that says,"Does this happen often?" and by the widened look on his face, I'm gonna say that's a no.

I nod, and take his plate, my (e/c) skirt flowing with my movements as I Make my way down the line, grabbing the curry, placing it in front of Ciel, and filling his glass up with water, making sure no cubes get into it, leaving it clear and swishing silently in its container.

"There you are, Earl Phantomhive." I bow, m shaking fingers clutching the sides of my skirt as I lower my body in respect.

"Thank you (y/n). Sebastian, you are dismissed. (Y/n), please stay for a minute, I would like to speak with you about matters"

Sebastian nods, bowing, giving me a wink before he leaves the room, sending me into a state of confusion. I walk forward a few paces, to face the Young Master while he eats.

"Yes My Lord?" I begin, hoping not to start off on the wrong foot.

Ciel smirks, as he spoons some curry into his mouth, leaving silence between us while he enjoys his meal. After swallowing, he sets down his spoon, interlocking his fingers over the bowl, elbows on table to support his arms and hands.

"Please, pour yourself a glass of wine, sit with me. No need to be afraid here."

I let my arms fall to my side, and walk over to the table, grabbing one of the empty glasses, and pour myself some wine from the carafe on the table, next to the salt and pepper shakers.

Walking awkwardly to the chair beside Ciel, I hesitate before I sit down, wondering if I heard him correct with his orders.

He leans back in his chair, eating another spoonful of curry within the silence. Setting the spoon back into the bowl, he looks over at me, as if inspecting an animal to adopt.

"What is it, Young Master?" I sit straight up in my chair, not being able to relax enough to do my usual chair sitting slouch.

Ciel smirks, though his tone reflects seriousness.  "Tell me what you know about Alois Trancy and Claude Faustus. And I mean everything"
