Ni-ki brought Sunoo to his shared apartment more often, like today. It was late in the evening, Ni-ki and Sunoo came in laughing while Jake was scrolling through his phone on the bed.

"Hey hyung" Ni-ki greeted.

"Oh, hi Jake!" Sunoo greeted with one of his infamous smiles. Jake greeted them and didn't want to bother them anymore so he continued scrolling on his phone until he received a message from Ni-ki's dad.

Let Ni-ki to meet her at 7pm in the café 3 blocks away from your apartment

Jake sighed and thought about what he should do.

"Ni-ki" he called out to the other who was busy annoying Sunoo in the kitchen.

"Hm?" Ni-ki replied and made his way to Jake, leaving a quick peck on Sunoo's cheeks.

"I need a really huge favor" he asked, putting on his best puppy eyes. Ni-ki sighed not knowing what Jake wanted.

"Can you please hang out with this girl for me" Jake showed Ni-ki a picture of her on his phone. Ni-ki admitted the girl was pretty but why?

"why?"

"She's one of my friends and she always wanted to meet you" Jake lied, he felt bad but he didn't wanna upset Ni-ki's dad.

"I'm busy tonight, you know that" Ni-ki said, looking at Sunoo then back at Jake. "Tell her another time"

"No!" Jake stopped him quickly "I mean-" he straightened himself "please only for two hours and you can come ack to Sunoo"

"Fine" Ni-ki agreed and lifted his finger to Jake's face "Just don't tell Sunoo it's with her, I don't want him to get worried"

"Roger that" Jake said putting his two fingers to his head in salute and Ni-ki laughed.

Later that day, Ni-ki was getting dressed to go to meet the girl when Sunoo walked in "Oh you look nice" he complemented "Are we going somewhere?" Sunoo asked approaching Ni-ki helping him fix his shirt.

"Um no" Ni-ki said in a low and squeaky voice as he wasn't good at lying. Sunoo looked at him confused and Ni-ki knows he's wondering where else is he going.

"I'm gonna meet one of Jake's business partners for an hour or two" he said trying to tell the truth where he can.

"Oh, so Jake's going to?" Sunoo asked.

"Not exactly, he wants me to go for him since he has a lot of work to do" Ni-ki lied and Sunoo nodded smiling.

"I'll wait for you then, have fun" Sunoo smiled and walked Ni-ki out.

Ni-ki later arrived at the café and sighed. He entered looking for the girl and spotted her in an elegant dress, too elegant for a café meeting.

Ni-ki approached her and sat down "Hello" he greeted and the girl smiled twirling her hair.

"Ni-ki!" she drew out and it was a little annoying to Ni-ki's ears "You look amazing!" she said eyeing Ni-ki.

"Thanks"

They ordered two drinks and a few treats that Ni-ki planned on taking home for Sunoo as the latter couldn't leave him mind.

They talked a lot that evening and Ni-ki couldn't remember half of what she said. He kept glancing at his phone looking for messages from Sunoo, to his luck he got none.

Back at the apartment, Sunoo lay on Ni-ki's bed with his fingers hovering over the send button. He didn't wanna disturb Ni-ki.

He made up his mind, one text won't hurt right? Just as he was about to press the 'send' button, the loud sound of Gee by Girls' Generation blasted from the other bed.

It was Jake's phone.

He wasn't home Sunoo assumed remembering Ni-ki said he was busy. Sunoo ignored it at first but it kept ringing constantly.

He got up and picked up the phone to see who it was but the contact name was only an angry emoji.

Sunoo answered it to tell them Jake wasn't home but the voice on the other side made his throat go dry.

Ni-ki's dad.
