Sunoo stood nervously outside Ni-ki's apartment. His foot tapping the floor beneath.

"Are you sure you don't want me stay until he's here?" Jay asked actually feeling worried for the younger.

Sunoo denied his offer. Jake wasn't home and Sunoo didn't have a spare key to Ni-ki's apartment so he's kind of stuck in the cold.

"Sunoo I'm serious it's freezing" Jay begged and Sunoo shouted at him.

"No! Gosh just- just go!" Sunoo trembles in his words and Jay left since he didn't have a choice.

Sunoo stood there on the staircase shivering until someone stopped to his rescue.

"Uncle! Uncle!" a little girl tugged on Sunoo's sweater that was supposedly made to keep him warm.

Sunoo turned to the child in embarrassment of being called 'uncle'.

The child held up a cup of hot chocolate "Take this! So you won't shiver!" she said and gave the cup to Sunoo while doing a little shivering gesture.

"Ah thank you!"Sunoo accepted but the child decided to ask more questions.

"What are you standing here for? Are you waiting for your mommy?" she asked innocently.

Sunoo scratched the back if his head with the warm cup in one of his hands "something like that"

"My mommy is over there!" she pointed to a car not far away " she told me to give that to you" she said referring to the hot chocolate.

The girl and Sunoo stood there chatting for no less than two minutes when he decided to ask.

"Shouldn't you get back to your mom, little girl?" he ruffled her hair and she nodded but before she left she asked Sunoo.

"Are you lost?"

Sunoo looked at her bewildered and she looked worried. Sunoo couldn't help but coo at the little girl.

"I'm not" he responded.

"But your mommy is taking so long! Did she leave you?" The more the little girl talked the more she wanted to cry.

Sunoo looked helplessly at the girl " No please don't cry" he stopped down to meet the girls face "I'm not waiting for my mommy"

The girl looked at him confused "Then who are you waiting for?" she asked with a pout on her lips.

"His boyfriend"

Sunoo almost lost his balance and fell to the floor. He didn't respond to the little girl, it was Ni-ki.

"Hello!" The little girl bowed to Ni-ki "You are Uncle's boyfriend?" she asked with her finger in her mouth.

Sunoo, who was still stooped to the ground, buried his face in his hands. Embarrassed was an understatement for how he felt at the moment.

"Yes" Ni-ki smiled warmly at the girl and pinched her cheeks.

"Now can Uncle's boyfriend ask why this little girl was talking to him?" Ni-ki asked spitefully teasing Sunoo just a little.

"Oh! Uncle was shiver shiver!" she made a trembling gesture to him "So mommy and me buy uncle hot chocolate so uncle feel warm!" she explained and Ni-ki couldn't help but laugh with the little girl.

"Now mommy must be worried wondering where her little baby went" Ni-ki played along in a baby voice.

"Oh yes yes! I have to go now" she said sadly.

Ni-ki picked her up "Uncle will carry you to mommy now let's go!" He said and started running to her mother in a silly way. The little girl couldn't help but laugh.

"Bye bye uncle!" She waved and Sunoo who waved back with a smiled.

Sunoo stood up straight and picked up the half empty cup of hot chocolate.

He watched as Ni-ki bid goodbye to the girl and her mother and they drove off.

Ni-ki started walking back to Sunoo and the latter immediately remembered why he was here.

"Fuck I'm screwed" he whispered to himself almost tripping on a stone behind him.

Ni-ki quickly grabbed Sunoo's hand and marched upstairs making the other yelp at the sudden action.

"Ni-ki! Yah! Let me go!" He asked. He knew Ni-ki wouldn't but he still tried.

Ni-ki walked so fast Sunoo almost fell trying to keep up with his speed.

They reached Ni-ki's shared apartment. Ni-ki fished out his keys and fumbled to unlock the door with one hand.

They were met with a pitch black room but the other seemed not to care as he pushed Sunoo against the wall unintentionally.

"Why were you with him?" Ni-ki asked out of breath from walking.

Sunoo wasn't scared but he was afraid Ni-ki would leave him again.

"I already told you! YOU cancelled our plans so Jay offered to take me out" Sunoo said and he heard Ni-ki groan loudly as if he was tired.

"Why didn't you go with Jungwon then hm?"

Ni-ki leaned forward making Sunoo more nervous. Sunoo shut his eyes thinking Ni-ki.was going to kiss him then he heard a click.

He opened his eyes to see Ni-ki only had reached for the lightswitch behind him. He was a little disappointed but their situation was worse.

"Answer me" Ni-ki said in a low and cold voice.

"Jungwon was busy" he lied. Jungwon wanted to finish the series he was watching.

"But you know Jay's past" Ni-ki reiterated what basically everyone keeps saying.

"What if u fall for him?! And he breaks your heart hm? " He asked looking at Sunoo.

"It wouldn't be any different from now, would it?" Sunoo sassed back. He couldn't help it. Ni-ki was being stupid.

"Kim!" Ni-ki raised his voice a little.

"Yah! Who are you to call me by my name hm?!" Sunoo finally snapped "Fine I admit it! Jay offered to help me follow you!"

"Follow me?"

"Yes. First you said we're friends. Then you cancel our date. You've been acting weird lately ever since you met up with that client of Jake's and now I see it"

Ni-ki looked at him with pure confusion written all over his face.

"Don't lie to me I see the way you looked at her in the café"

"Sunoo are you serious?! I couldn't give shit about what she was on about?!"

"Say whatever you want. Sunghoon was so much better than you!" Sunoo said out of anger with his arms folded.

"You were mine before him!" Ni-ki cried out.

"Atleast he fought for us! What did you do?!" Sunoo shouted back "Sunghoon would run at any chance to make me happy. Now that I think of it. He is soo much better than yo-"

Ni-ki couldn't take it anymore he smashed their lips together shutting Sunoo up. He didn't want Sunoo to finish that sentence because he knew it was true.
