Ni-ki came back to the apartment to see Jake laying there chewing his nails.
He let out an exasperated sigh and walked to his side of the bed. He just wanted to close his eyes and fall asleep hoping this was all a dream.
"Ni-ki, I'm sorry" Jake whispered from the other side.
"Why did you do that?" Ni-ki asked calmly with his eyes still closed.
"You know your dad is a scary person and I didn't know you and Sunoo were a thing" Jake explained.
Ni-ki understood Jake thought it would be best for him since he knew nothing about Sunoo or his dad.
"Even if you didn't know you should've told me" Ni-ki said.
"I'm really sorry man. I didn't mean to ruin y'all relationship" Jake said referring to Ni-ki and Sunoo.
"We're not together, yet" Ni-ki said feeling like shit for not asking Sunoo to officially be his boyfriend.
There was a short silence after before Jake spoke up again.
"So what are you gonna do? Tell your dad no and deny the girl?" Jake asked as it was the only solution they had.
"No, I'll do as my father says" Jake choked on air.
"Are you sure? I mean- I what about Sunoo?" Jake asked not believing Ni-ki just said that.
"Chill. My father would never change his ways so I'll teach him a little lesson" Ni-ki said.
"Woah! Calm down! Your hyung doesn't approve" Jake said lowing his voice in a funny way.
Ni-ki sat up and turned to Jake's direction "Think about it hyung. If I turn down Gigi and you stop contacting my dad he will find some other way to get into my life again"
"True"
"I'm going to expose him for what he did to my mother and bring down his entire illegal business" Ni-ki planned.
"Illegal?!" Jake asked shocked "Like mafia?" Jake asked scared.
Ni-ki nodded as if it wasn't a problem.
"You're the son of a mafia?!" Jake jumped of his bed and shouted.
"Shh be quiet!" Ni-ki shushed him "Besides my dad separated me from Sunoo back in high school when he saw we kissed"
"Y'all kissed?!" Jake asked eyes popping out of his head and Ni-ki nodded.
"I've had enough of my dad. He's a murderer" Ni-ki said angrily but was interrupted by Jake's gasp.
"Murderer? I was agreeing with a mafia murderer?! I'm scarred for life"
Ni-ki chuckled at Jake. Can't believe he was 3 years older than him and he acts like he is 3 years younger.
"Dude! Chill. But I'm serious and you're gonna help me" Ni-ki said and Jake quickly denied.
"Nope not me! I'm safe and criminal record free" Jake said dusting off his pajamas.
"Oh come on! Think of it as your way of making it up to me for being allies with my dad" Ni-ki smirked cleverly.
"Fine" Jake whined and lay on his bed with a loud thud.
"One more thing. Sunoo can't know of this"
