Gone is the hope,
Of another reign from you,
Our folk in and of strife has grown tired,
Of you, my dear old friend.
Yet the Triumphant Arch of your Reign, still awaits you,
The Gazes of Doom,
With them, we sealed the clutches of the Heathen Throne,
But as the last sight of your sail went away,
Their eyes awaited me,
The many tribes cried out:
"¡He left us!"
They lost their north,
In need of my mark,
For the abdication of my reign.
The longing from their gazes,
The traitorous anguish of their orders,
Has seized the silence.
For the new ruins they seek,
Lies upon their table,
An answer they shall have,
I must heed to it,
For my blade is my crown
And by the mere fling of its fine steel,
They leapt out...aghast,
The table has been set free into pieces,
"Now, my mark is your smeared dresses", I declared.
In waiting for a lynching,
Nothing they did,
I left in a boiling dismay.
Away from their sheepish hisses,
Leaving me with solitude,
My ever companion,
And the forefront in all... the Triumphant Arch,
In its still glory...weary.
I, the First Shadow,
On the brink of departing,
Into exile,
Saw a golden flower,
Forgotten and smitten on the cobblestones,
I plucked it out,
Near and close to my heart
The years has gone by,
Its thorns gave away its blood trail,
Once I saw the downward peaks of our Fatherland,
Howling for my shadow,
A fallen hunger, an ancient grudge.
The sun setting,
Its final flight of today,
My last glimpse of it,
All I see of it,
Is of my daughter in tears,
Setting a farewell to me.
