Lucas woke up to the sound of his phone ringing. It was Kes. "Bro, I've been waiting out here for half an hour, I fucking hate your voicemail, please say you've actually picked up this time!" Lucas rubbed his eyes and sat up. "What time is it?" on the other end of the line he heard Kes groan dramatically. "18 past school starts, the scooter drives in 5 minutes, tot zo." He heard Kes hanging up. He was still confused about what Kes meant by him having actually picked up, but then it hit him what Kes had said. "Fuuuck,".
He hurried into his clothes, and brushed his teeth. He had completely forgotten to set an alarmclock, now that his mother wasn't home to wake him up. That also meant he hadn't prepared any lunch.
